Great food and nice environment! It’s a fun place and the chicken fingers were delicious get them with the chipotle bbq. As others have mentioned, the food is pricey. Also they added a covid fee to the check. I thought that the drinks were reasonably priced though. Overall good but expensive.
2 YEARS LATER I finally was able to make my way to Manhattan and revisit one of my favorite locations after everything calmed down. Lots of changes, some very disappointing due to the Pandemic. 60% of the menu was cut and my goto mix combo of the wet and dry ribs were no longer available no more dry ribs. They only have the wet ribs so I ordered a full rack which 5 of them filled me up out of 8. The fries were super crispy just as I like em, the mac with the chicken on top on point, their baked beans delicious as well. Drinks hit well and doesn’t break the pockets. Walked into an amazing busy, yet welcoming and warm atmosphere. There were loads of games to play in the bar area whilst we waited for a seat. Waitresses were great, very attentive and friendly. Food was incredible and arrived quickly. Drinks menu was great and even better at happy hour.. Would highly recommend anybody looking for an American BBQ try this place. PS. The ribs and brisket are INCREDIBLE
Good bbq food. Went for lunch and had the Dixon chicken sandwich fried chicken. It was tasty, but a little too sweet for my palate. They offer free dining for kids under ten, have bar games, and trivia nights on Monday.
Hearty and tasty southern comfort food and large selection of beers and special soft drinks. The fried chicken is a go-to, perfectly seasoned. Their corn bread is house made and is a must. Great atmosphere and location
Food was amazing! Shared TWO fishbowls with my partner. I will say, however, server felt fake and very rushy. As 10pm approached, her sense of urgency to leave was obvious. Pretty lame. But still, food was awesome and the fishbowls hit!
Came here for dinner on Saturday night the place was really busy but we were seated immediately and the food came out really quickly after we placed our order. The nachos with brisket were tasty but I wish the cheese was more evenly spread over the chips. The southern Cobb salad was good too. We also got a pitcher of the Flower Power which I would recommend. Overall good experience
I had the hush puppies and the Sloppy Jimmy sandwich. Both were really good, but not quite amazing. The hostess and waitress were both friendly and attentive. I went at the tail end of lunch hour so the place wasn't very busy.
Great place for lunch. The staff were friendly and courteous. A very laid back environment with good food. I felt nostalgic ordering The Sloppy Jimmy... packed with flavor.
Nice amount of food, kind of pricey. If you are in your 40s not the place for you. Music is nice...too loud can't have a conversation, mostly younger crowd would like this type of atmosphere.
