Came for $3 taco Tuesday and stayed for the beer. My bartender was super nice, made conversation. I really like how the place has a homey vibe to it.
Awww closed.... for good!! Really like the new staff and vibe. Our bartender, Nicole, was super sweet and she makes a great cocktail. Friendly patrons and fresh food. Can't wait for spring to enjoy the lovely patio.
I love this place. The bartenders are as sweet as can be but now importantly the food is great. The male Buffalo and sweet chili wings are perfect for football Sundays and the fish tacos are as California as you can get. The burgers are prefectly sized and seasoned. Totally fulfills a burger craving. Pair it with some sweet potato fries and you are totally golden. The outdoor patio is sick. Amazing seeing, cool vibe. No better pub in the area!.
The food was pretty good and the decor hasn't changed much from the prior restaurant. They have a decent craft and domestic beer selection. You probably won't find a rare or limited release. The menu is small, but enough to have a little bit of modernized pub food. In the front is a brick oven for pizza, though we did not try it. A lot of the decor seems to be left over from Egan's, which is not a bad thing. Most everything is dark wood with brass fittings. The bar is especially long, but seemed to have a fruit fly issue. Out back is a nicely lit slate patio with a separate bar. We will come back, but it probably won't be a regular stop.
I recently hosted a party for my husband and was so impressed. From the food to the service to the owner Greg who was extremely attentive I can’t say enough great things. Greg was so focused on making sure everything was perfect and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The menu he created for the party was perfect and the food was delicious. I wish him the best of luck and can’t wait to head back for dinner!
Super glad I found Brown Bear Pub from a random networking outing which this place has the perfect space for networking/other events! Great spot for Sunday football and late night week day ventures. Drinks are reasonably priced, especially during Happy Hour and the Pizza & wings are great! Vic, the bartender, is awesome, and you couldn't ask for a better owner, Gregg. Gregg is always around, always welcoming his customers and appreciates everyone's business. Thanks guys!
I love going to this place. The owner is nice and the drinks are decently priced. They have great happy hour deals and the atmosphere is always fun and relaxed. They even have karaoke on Thursday nights. I gave it 4 stars only because I wished they opened a little earlier on Fridays.
I went with my wife we ordered the off the menu special of shrimp cocktail and chicken pot pie and the calamari on the menu and I must say it was AMAZING!!! The shrimp was very fresh as well as the cocktail sauce. The texture of the calamari was crispy but not over cooked and chicken pot pie was delightful it reminded me of how my mother made it..not mention to service was outstanding the servers was so attentive and had so much attention to detail with such style and kindness also my drinks were made with care and love...I left feeling very satisfied. The Brown Bear is one the area's hidden gems. I would highly recommend checking it out
It's a nice bar with a good space for the stand up comedy during the week. During the summer, they have an open in the back that's a great place to chill and enjoy the show. Get there in time for happy hour drinks and good food. You'll have a great time.
Beautiful and warm space. Plenty of people at the bar, but few diners. The menu was uninspired but the food was very tasty. I asked for a side salad for my pizza and was told that they could not make me one. Really?
