The Bagel Box

I usually don’t write reviews on restaurants but I had to share my experience today. I usually go in here about 3 to 4 times a week so I’m here a lot today I went in and ordered a garlic bagel with sliced lox And a little bit of onion I don’t know if they hired new people. But I had to show the lady who was making my bagel where everything was, that’s not even the worst part. I get to my car open my bagel and there is a single slice of lox on each side. The bagel is 90% cream cheese with a little bit of lox.

I came all the way from Brooklyn nyc to New Jersey for one of these! They have a variety of bagels they make daily. You can have them made with anything and anyway you crave! The service is fast, staff are pleasant and food is made fresh on-site. When in NJ and craving a bagel sandwich done right, GO HERE!

We’ve been going here for years, always fantastic service and food. Placed an order for delivery today not realizing they don’t deliver on weekends. A very pleasant young lady delivered it, and nicely explained this was a courtesy, as we’re close by. They just earned our further business!

Great local spot with large variety of bagels, spreads, baked goods, full hot and cold breakfast and lunch menu. Competitive prices compared to other nearby locations. Takeout only, no seating.

Cool bagel shop!! Place is fresh, clean and food is good!!! I got rainbow bagels n strawberry cream cheese and 2 bacon, egg n cheese like we order in nyc ..perfect spot place was full of customers waiting for food made fresh to order..

Honestly they where good as far as food , I literally sat there for a few min. All I hear is them talking bad about almost all the customers in there . One of the guys was talking so poorly about another customer thinking no one spoke Spanish . He goes and rings me up and I tell em I know you weren’t talking to me . Just super unprofessional but it was good . Next time don’t talk smack about customers you never know who’s listening and knows Spanish

When I got there, only one other person was there. They already ordered, so I placed my order. Bagel with cream cheese. Pretty easy right! The guy making my bagel answered the phone while making my bagel. Not the 4 women standing there doing nothing. At this time they started to get busy. All 4 girls were busy. Mind you I just had back surgery I’m wear a mid body cast it’s clear as day. They all finish, every single one of them forgot about me. Took other peoples orders without finishing my order. When I spoke up, no one had anything to say. They pretended to not understand me.

I'm sadly disappointed with this place. I feel the quality has gone down the past year, prices have gone up and the customer service isn't as good. It's disappointed.

They have good food but are very rude when putting in food orders over the phone they hang up so abruptly before you can even finish order

Listen. Make the trip. Bagels are fresh. They are generous with the Taylor ham. Service is super quick. Just go already!
