Bruegger's Bagels

Consistently excellent and delicious. Bagels are for real and have all the characteristics of actual east coast bagels, particularly when fresh. Soups, coffee and such are at least above average. Recommended with enthusiasm.

Very nice bagel/coffee shop, the entire staff is friendly and helpful, your food is prepared very quickly while still ensuring quality, and it has a great "feel" to the whole restaurant.

This Bruegger's hires only 18 year olds who have never worked a job before and each day is their first day at work. Make sure to repeat your order seven times while the person at the register struggles to navigate the nightmarish complexity of a POS system. They will still get your order wrong, but at least you tried. Two stars, one for the bagels and another for the very few poor competent people who have the misfortune to work here.

Didn't ask if I wanted my bagel sandwich toasted, completely skimped out on the veggies, and seemed like no one behind the counter knew what they were doing, whether it was making a sandwich or interacting with the customer at all. Food was good once I got it how I wanted it. Won't go back because people are oblivious.

Since when don't the bakers put a piece of paper down to prepare your bagel on?? I thought they always did that? Seems like a good idea to prevent your bagel from tasting like the last one prepared! I had one today that had red onion all over the bottom of it and last week my bagel had sriracha sauce on the bottom. I would like to see this done this from now on!
