Bubba

Super cute atmosphere and good food. I'm a Southerner, always on the hunt for good southern food, and this fit the bill. The pimento Mac and cheese was fabulous (and not very pimento-ey). The collards were...a little... different. I think there is nutmeg in it? Still good, just "interesting". The fried pickles aren't the normal dill, but rather a fried bread and butter pickle. Again, "interesting". I really enjoyed it all and hope to go back another time.

Second time eating here. Lightning fast service tonight. Great food. Since Paxton's closed, the only real southern eatery in town. I had shrimp and grits tonight. Delicious! Shared bananas foster waffle dessert. Wow! Fabulous! Too big for one person. Plan to share. Hot waffle, creamy vanilla bean ice cream, bananas. What a treat!

Have eaten here several times and loved it all. Casual enough to drop in for dinner or lunch but classic enough I have been to anniversary parties, holidays and birthdays here. Never a bad staff member or item on the menu! Personal favorites Hot Kentucky Brown, cheese board and Chocolate cake!

Great southern comfort food for a Midwestern City! The atmosphere and decor are very nice. The fried chicken is excellent! I highly recommend the Pimento Mac and cheese! Staff is quick and professional and offer great suggestions for new customers!

I really enjoyed my brunch at Bubba. Their menu had a variety of options. My vegan hash was delicious and the coffee was fabulous. The atmosphere is classy, clean, and hip. Our server was friendly and quick. An all around great experience. We will definitely return!
