Rodneys Kitchen

Rodneys Kitchen is such a wonderful establishment it's hard to put into words. Not only is everything I've had so far on the menu some of the best food I've had. (Hawaiian Burger best burger in town) but also what I experience every time I vist is joyful and meaningful, Rodney's smile and friendly helpful attitude are so comforting. Rodney also spends what extra time and money he has helping the kids in our community, providing free lunches on days without school to prevent hunger. While also recently starting a program that gives local youths jobs mowing lawns in the Waterloo area. Helping keep teens from resorting to crime as a source of income. Truly the man deserves a medal, not only for food to die for, but outstanding community service.

I have been to Rodney's Kitchen twice now. Both times I have been very happy with the food and staff. Everyone there is very attentive and caring and makes eating there a pleasure. The food is amazing! seriously, go and try the food. I have have the Philly and the burger, both were awesome!!

So good!! We had the shrimp po'boy, breaded tenderloin, and steak philly! It was amazing ❤ wish we could give it 6 stars!

Came here with a friend late November 2017. First impression was the cleanliness of the dining area. Everything on the menu sounded good, but I went with the chicken and waffles. The wait was as expected. This was the best fried chicken I've ever had in my life and I frequent out of state. Whatever seasoning Rodney has concocted is a masterpiece. I start salivating thinking about it and can't wait to get back to Waterloo for round 2! Thanks Rodney!
