After searching the dispersed camping area across the way and finding three death memorials set up we were creeped out and drove over to check out this place. It was very strange. We could not find anyone to ask for information. Finally a man stopped and asked if we were looking for a place to park. He said the camp host was gone and they didn’t know when she would return so it was free camping until she came back. There were several campers on the first loop. We went to the second loop and were the only ones there. It was super quiet with million dollar views!! The stars at night were amazing! It is primitive camping with no hookups. There is a central dump that costs $6 but it was closed. So no water either. But we loved the beauty and serenity! Could have stayed and enjoyed that for several days but had to move on.
