Reviews
Camped here in the summer of 2002 and in 2017. This is where we stopped in preparation to move farther north for the solar eclipse in August 2017. Absolutely beautiful place. Plenty of camping spots available around the north side of the lake. Only thing available for bathroom is out houses, but they are kept clean and updated by the forest service. Plenty of hiking and beautiful countryside all around.

It gets a 4 star simply because of where it is never stayed there myself. It's great trout fishing and beautiful country. It does fish better from a boat than off of the shore however. But if you go there and you do take a boat remember that using motors on you boat in this lake is prohibited.

Just off the road enough to avoid the noise. Just watch out for the mosquitoes!
