Buckeye Chili & Smokehouse

Hopefully this place sticks around. I had their brisket and cornbread and it was some of the best brisket I've had. It was tender but did not fall apart and the flavor was great. Brisket is hard to do especially when you're doing a big quantity and it has to sit around, but they nailed it. I will definitely be back.

Excellent service and excellent meal. I had a cup of regular chili to start and the brisket/cornbread for my lunch meal. Everything was wonderful. I know where I'll be going for barbecue when I'm downtown! I can't recommend this place enough!

Food was amazing. Great staff. And what a wonderful change of pace from "downtown" dinning. Definitely one of my new favorites.

We ran into the owner on the sidewalk he must always approach good looking women., and he invited us to visit his restaurant. Not a big meat eater, I tried their brisket, and it was perfect. Great flavor and tender.

Just threw back a fantastic bowl of spicy chili spaghetti at Buckeye Chili and Smokehouse. Recently opened restaurant..friendly and fast service. Will definitely return...interested in the brisket next time around.

Quick service and delicious food. An easy walk from the State house or hospital- will come again.
