Purchased our Miele vacuum from this location, customer service has always been a good experience for me, including going in yearly to change filter & keep it current under the warranty.
I ordered a vacuum online because we live far away but I wanted to support an independent dealer in my home state. The day after placing my order I called with a few questions. Steve was very friendly and helpful, explaining my shipping options etc. Glad to do business here.
Bought a Miele vacuum here. Great place to see them in person and get a feel for what I needed. The guy that helped me was great.
I’ve never been so excited to vacuum! Steve was excellent and explained my options when I brought in my old Miele that died after 20 years bc I wasn’t kind to the cord! I got a refurbished Miele exactly like my old one for a great price. I’ll always go there for my filters and bags in the future.
We purchased our Miele vacuum from Buckhead Midtown Vacuum and it has worked well over the years. Last week the vacuum wouldn’t function so I took it back to Buckhead Midtown vacuum to see what was needed for repair. They charged a $20 diagnostic fee and said the motor has a warranty for 7 years should the issue be the motor. After a week of not hearing from them I called them and asked the status. They said the motor and a circuit board went bad and would need to be replaced. I mentioned they stated the motor was under warranty and asked them what it would cost to repair. They stated the motor had dust in it and it wasn’t covered under the warranty. Dust in a vacuum motor, really? They then said it would cost $280 to fix. I wanted to verify the warranty restriction so I called Miele directly to discuss. In talking with the Miele representative they said they were not aware of this diagnosis not being covered and suggested I take it to another authorized Miele reseller. I picked the vacuum up from Buckhead Vacuum and they tried to sell me a new case and said my current attachments would work. I said I was going to pursue other options and left the store and drove to another Miele store and dropped it off for their FREE evaluation. The other licensed dealer called me the next day and stated my vacuum was fixed and I asked them what was the issue and how much it would cost. They said they replaced the motor and it was free, covered under warranty. I was so happy I took it to another Miele reseller. I will continue to use Miele vacuums but will not set foot in Buckhead Midtown Vacuum again.
Shopping in general is stressful for me, especially when purchasing appliances. I'm so happy that I found Buckhead Midtown Vacuum. I forget the guys name on the phone but he was friendly and courteous so I decided to pay the store a visit. Upon my arrival I was greeted by Jeff whom I later found out was the owner. He was patient with me and explained the different features of the two Miele vacuums that I was interested in. I'm a VERY indecisive person so I greatly appreciated his expertise. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a new vacuum! Glad I found them!
I took my Dyson 25 in for repairs; I didn't know why it wouldn't work properly. My first mistakes - I should have never given a dollar amount. I paid the $20 fee for them to assess the vacuum.; they'd call me. After a few days, I called them and was told to clean the vacuum would be an additional $65. Again, my mistake, I did not ask what involved in the cleaning process. When I picked it up and took it home and tried to use it, the vacuum whistled loudly. I took it back and asked them to look at it again as they'd missed something. They said the filter in the motor housing needed to be replaced for 39. or 49.95. - I don't remember which., but I was told that the filter was not functional any more. I trusted my instincts and took my Dyson home, cleaned the filter, let it dry for 1.5 - 2 days and it worked perfectly - no whistling. I called and spoke to Jeff and asked him about this and he gave me some BS story about why cleaning this filter was not part of the cleaning process. I will not go back to them ever for purchase or repairs.
My wife dropped our Miele vacuum off there, They tried to charge her 200.00 to fix the power cord. In all fairness, 20.00 was for the assessment and 180.00 was to fix the cord. They did give her the option to trade it in and for only 400 more dollars they could upgrade her to a better one. Really disappointed that this is how they chose to do business. Even car dealerships don't act that way anymore. Really disappointed.
Had a great experience at Midtown Vacuum! I have a long haired German shedder...I mean Shepherd and recently moved into a larger house from a smaller apartment. I now need a little more size and oomph than my beloved Miele C2 Compact can provide. I came in with an idea of what I wanted...either a Miele or a Sebo upright. Both high end cleaners and about the same price. Jeff spent time explaining the pros and cons of both cleaners as well as other similar options. In the end I went with the Sebo X7. Jeff was very helpful and obviously knowledgeable. One thing he isn't is pushy, which is a nice change from the typical sales experience. He was already helping a customer when I arrived so I got to hear his interaction with her before he and I talked. Just like with me he answered all of her questions but never once tried to pressure her into buying anything. There's a reason this place has been around as long as it has...customer service!
Absolutely spectacular experience. A+ customer service. Steve was so knowledable and went out of his way to give us all the information we needed on the air purifier we bought. He put it together for us and went though every detail. I would definitely go back for any vacuum or filter needs. Thank you!
