I went to Antonio's Buckhead Mufflers shop yesterday. I must say I am impressed with the world class service that was provided. I've struggled with finding a mechanic I can trust. Jose is very nice and informative. The service was speedy and he cares about your investment that you are making. He provides great recommendations. My car is running a lot better. I left this shop feeling confident about the repair made to my catalytic converter. I would recommend anyone to go to this shop. Thank you so much Jose, you are great!

Just had the guys at Buckhead Mufflers install headers on my '05 Nissan Armada 4x4. The factory manifolds were cracked and the ticking sound was driving me CRAZY!  Knowing this was not a small task, I shopped around at a few other shops before deciding on BM.  Most places declined to take the project on, and the ones that did seemingly threw out ridiculously high price quotes without ever looking at the truck or talking through what the install would entail Nissan dealer included.  The first time I stopped by BM, Jose put my car up on the lift and showed me where the OEM manifolds were leaking. He talked through what my options were to repair the leak and was open to my procuring the parts if it was a better financial option you don't hear that from many mechanics these days. Note that I hadn't yet decided to have them do the work, he just wanted to make sure he understood my issue and that I understood my options - all for no charge!  Given the positive initial experience, I opted to have them do the install.  It took a couple days to complete the job, and Jose kept me well informed of their progress along the way.  They did a stellar job on the install and even addressed some other small items in the exhaust system that needed attention and will save me headaches later on.  He even recommended a couple of local recycling companies that would buy my used converters - nice!  All in all, the customer service alone is worth choosing this place.  Jose is an honest guy who will give you a professional opinion, whether good news or bad.  Coupled with a job well done at a price that was more than fair, I'll definitely be going to Buckhead Muffler for any future repairs!

So many other reviews have said it- these guys are the best you can find.  Ask for Jose.  He's professional, polite, and extremely knowledgeable.  I had a non-urgent aftermarket muffler install, and he really wanted to earn my business.  As for the quality of the work- I've done many aftermarket exhaust systems on other cars, and this was BY FAR the best install I've had done.  They work meticulously and accurately.  They probably care more than you do about making it line up perfectly so it works right and looks even better.  I went a long way out of my way to their shop and I'd do it again 10 times out of 10.  Totally reasonable prices too, which makes their work the best value in the business.  I didn't think I'd end up writing a review for a place already so blessed with good reviews, but these guys earned it.  They are a 5-star shop.

When my vehicle failed emissions due to a faulty catalytic converter in my nissan maxima, I called around to get different estimates and searched online for reputable shops. A few people recommended Jose and his team to do the job and upon checking reviews and bringing my car to him  I can see why. Jose was very patient with me and upon my request without hesitation put my car on the lift, he explained to me what the job entailed, and provided me with an accurate estimate.  Jose understands the importance of valuing his customer and it showed by the time he took to help me identify what part i needed. He discussed manufacturers I should look into and even provided me with the part number to assist me in finding the most cost effective alternative. I recommend his business for your auto-repairs.

My Mazda 6 needed a repair while I was visiting Georgia I live in New Hampshire. Despite the generous coating of New England Rust on the underside of my Mazda, and despite my very tight schedule, Jose was able to fit me in and did an absolute amazing job putting everything right. It was not an easy repair and Jose did everything with the skill and precision of a heart surgeon. It was the best car repair experience of my life, and I've been driving cars for forty years. I wish there was a muffler shop like this up here in New Hampshire. Thanks Jose!

Had an aftermarket axle-back exhaust installed by Jose, and could not be more pleased with the results.  The attention to detail on the installation, mounting, and alignment was nothing short of  impressive, as well as the general customer service provided.  Jose went over the final product with me to make sure I was satisfied prior to doing a small weld to keep the clamps from moving or loosening up and the system looks great.  Jose should be your first call/stop for any exhaust needs in the Metro ATL area.

I usually stay away from writing reviews, but I guess I owe this to Jose who saved me about $600 dollars and 4-6 hours of wait time.  I have an old Infiniti car and it failed to pass the Emission test. I reached out to some well known auto shops in my area and quite a few muffler shops in the town. I was quoted in the range $800 to $1200 to fix the issues. Without even looking at the car, almost all mechanics said that it was a Catalytic Converter issue and there was no option but to replace the Converter.  Thanks to all those who commented about Buckhead Mufflers. I called Jose and he spent about 30 mins with me explaining all possible options I have to fix the car. And some of those options meant very little or no business to him. I had the choice to pick the option that best fit my needs. While working on the issues with Emission, Jose cleaned the air filter, added break fluid, added Coolant, and inspected my car free of cost, without even me asking for it. Also, taking into account the miles on my car, Jose shared some tips to avoid such Emission issues in future. On top of all that service, Jose called me back after a couple of days to check if I could get past the emission test. I don't think even my family doctor will care to call me back after a few days to check if I was doing fine :  Honesty, flexibility and skill - so hard to find all these traits in car mechanics. Buckhead Mufflars shop is 40 miles from my home, and I am ready to drive that far for any future needs. Thanks Jose!

If you're looking for honesty, quality, and efficiency look no further.  Jose is a really nice guy and is great at helping you understand what the problem is with your car and how they will fix it.  I trusted them with a heavily modified vehicle and couldn't be happier with the result or the service.  The price was very reasonable and they will never try to upsell you.  If you are having issues with your exhaust or brakes, I recommend this place 100%.

I very rarely write reviews but I had the best customer service experience I've had in years on my visit to Antonio's Buckhead Mufflers yesterday and was compelled to write one. I brought my car in with very little notice and Jose attended to it right away he was very knowledgeable on the phone about the make/model of my car and was already starting to diagnose the problem from my description. When he had inspected the car he took me to the garage and showed me the problem, encouraged me to take pictures, showed me things that might become problematic within the next year or two and suggested two ways to fix it one being more of a short term fix the other being more expensive with replacement parts. I explained to him that I would be getting a new car shortly so he fully endorsed the cheaper option. He was able to immediately start work on the car, it took less than an hour AND he managed to fix an additional more minor problem at no extra charge! Not only was the service incredibly reasonably priced but Jose was so polite and honest and it was a pleasure to interact with him I have absolutely never said that about a mechanic ever. As a woman I often get taken advantage of at mechanic shops but Jose never gave me that feeling and gave me a great deal with a warranty on the service! I'm recommending this place to absolutely everyone!

Absolutely 5 Stars! José, aka Antonio was absolutely fantastic! I pretty much solely work on my car as I do not trust mechanics but replacing the catalytic converter on my jeep was going to take some cutting and welding, which I do not do, so I reluctantly shopped around for muffler shops in my area. Gave Antonios a call and at first someone who didn't speak much English answered and I couldn't get an answer for what it would cost for the job. Within 20 minutes, Antonio called me back and left a voicemail about getting me a quote. I called him back and he was extremely helpful. Helped me understand what the issue may be over the phone all the way down to helping me figure out traffic patterns for getting there as they are right by the 85 collapse. Since he knows I work on cars, he let me get up underneath it to show me how it worked and explained everything to me. That really put my mind at ease. The service only took about an hour and a half, which is what he told me it would take, and the job and welding was very well done. He helped explained the codes my engine was throwing and advice for if it comes back up. I highly recommend Antonio's and will spread the word!
