Budget Truck Rental

We rented a 16 foot truck and car trailer to drive from Wisconsin to Arizona. Gilly called us a few hours before we were scheduled to pick up our truck to verify our reservation and to state that he had everything ready for our arrival, which was very nice! We arrived and Gilly already had the truck hooked up to the trailer and made the whole process quick and simple. He even helped us put the tire straps we had brought needed larger ones due to large tires of the car being towed to ensure everything was safely done. Gilly helped get a super stressful and long road trip off to a great start, and we had no problems or issues along the way. Thanks so much for a great truck rental experience, and I will recommend that all my friends rent through you.

Do NOT rely on the Budget Truck Rental website for accurate booking. I booked a rental, and was contacted the day before by the actual retail store notifying me that they did not have any trucks available for the entire weekend. When I contacted Budget Truck "Customer Service" it took them over two hours to FINALLY call me back to say that they could not locate any facility within a 30 mile radius where I could rent a truck. They were completely unapologetic and rude. They informed me that they had "no control" over the situation. I would think that a website that advertises a truck and provides you with a confirmation number should have SOME control. This mistake could have cost me a great deal of money. Thankfully, I took the initiative during my two hour wait to locate a truck through Uhaul, who was incredibly helpful. Please do not continue to perpetuate HORRIBLE customer service by renting through these people.

When picking the truck up from the MN location I had to wait 45 minutes past my reservation time for someone to show up then when I dropped the truck off at the Milwaukee location it was too late at night to go to the gas station so I called the location numerous of times no answer needed to get the keys from them to fill the truck gas tank back up while it was daylight couldn't get the keys or anyone to answer the phone, this is ridiculous I'm trying to prevent any extra charges but is unsuccessful with getting in contact with anyone. WORST services ever

Great experience. Gilly was very kind & made sure to wish us well on our move. Took the time to walk around the truck & was incredibly friendly.

Gilly's is the best mechanic shop in town. I am so happy my neighbor put me on to Gilly's. Gilly, Adam and Chad know what they're doing. There prices are very reasonable

Do not rent from here - cancelled my reservation the day of. Worst and most stressful experience of my life. There is a Penske truck rental in the area that is much more reliable, please go there instead.

Can't be trusted. I booked truck but when I went for pickup the truck the office closed and no one where there to help. Called the truck customer care but no help.

Good truck, cheaper than U-Haul, and Gilly is a great, honest person to do business with.
