BUFFALO (IDAHO), ID

We stayed at Buffalo for a week, in loop C with electric hookups. The sites were spotless and the campground was so quiet. There is plenty of shade with large pine trees surrounding your camp and smells divine. The camp hosts were so friendly, yet gave you your space. The toilets are flush and there are fresh water spigots nearby. The buffalo river is just a short walk around the loop and is beautiful. Bring your bug spray!!! The mosquitoes were dreadful.

Nice campground, paved roads with nice camping pull throughs and back in spots. Spaced a reasonable distance apart. Picnic table, grill & campfire circles. Square Gravel area for a tent. Electric service available for a daily rate.

Beautiful place. My family has been coming here for years. The camp hosts however have become increasingly mean. They yelled at my son for riding his power wheels toy. I get it if they are not allowed that's okay but I feel it uncalled for to yell at a child. My daughter was taking our dog for a walk, the camp host stopped her and very sternly told her if the dog went to the bathroom she would have to pick it up.... she had doggy bags in hand. I went to talk to the camp host about how the spoke to my children they said they did nothing wrong at that point I got upset. They proceeded to tell me they felt sorry for my kids and my husband should find a new wife. I love coming here. It holds so many fond memories for me as a child but I am not sure the beauty of this place is worth being treated this way. We stayed in D loop from July 7th to 15th 2017

We loved the camp ground will stay again. Restrooms were very clean.
