Buffalo Point Cabins & Restaurant

Nice, rustic cabin with a magnificent view. Could use some updating but functions fine as it is. Great deck on edge of the canyon overlooking the river. Restaurant at lodge had not opened for the season so I can't review that. Lots of trails to explore. Waterfalls. Several canoe/kayak rental places close by.

Cabin 3 sleeps 4 comfortably...too warm outside for the 2 porch beds. Children might be ok on them..

Great cabins! The restaurant has a great view but I wasn't impressed with my breakfast.

The cabin was old, which was expected and just fine with us but... it was infested with wolf spiders and at least two mice were calling the kitchen home. I'm assuming the critters felt at home there because it was filthy. They are more than happy to charge you extra for people, but the cabin was not accommodating to extra people. It's supposed to be set up for six, it wasn't. We didn't have enough bowls, cups, or spoons. Most of the time we didn't have a working light in two rooms. One of the beds was dangerously broken. The screened in porch had large holes in it. The bathroom had black mold on two walls. Well really, the wall was just falling off. I gave up asking for stuff because I got tired of hearing it blamed on "the people before us". For the amount they charge, go to another cabin. It's not worth it.
