Probably the best meal I had on my vacation. I ordered pork and it was done perfectly. It was served with some type of beans and I was raving about the beans to all of my friends. I had to give some to my friend because the flavor was sooo good I wanted someone else to taste it. I wish I lived closer to this place. The desert was phenomenal. I ordered the mixed berry cobbler and it was seriously delicious. Our waitress was Big Red and she was awesome. I highly recommend the Cliff House Inn.

The staff is always super friendly, and I love riding up Highway 7 to visit. I've never stayed the night, but the restaurant is decent with fair prices, especially considering the location. Definitely recommend a visit in the fall to view the leaves, but it was a great pit stop for a longer trip as well.

True "Southern Hospitality" at its finest - from the cozy, quaint, genuinely comfortable accommodations, serving homemade, scrumptious, delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners all prepared from the highest quality foods and ingredients cooked with tender-loving-care, to the friendly, courteous staff and owners Mike and Becky - you won't find a better lodging-restaurant combination in the state of Arkansas. My first morning, I was awakened to the soft sound of music and gentle laughter. I slept so soundly, I hated to wake-up. After breakfast, I sat on the balcony overlooking Arkansas' Grand Canyon, drinking coffee and basking in the warm sunshine. There's no need to travel anywhere else once you arrive because the scenery is spectacular, the food is excellent, prices are very reasonable and you are treaded like one of the owners. Don't be shy! Enjoy the local flair of Southern Hospitality - Arkansas Style with a pinch of spice from Louisiana. My favorites: The "Hamlet" for breakfast; BBQ Brisket for lunch; Fried Catfish for dinner; Blackberry cobbler after each meal; plus the endless coffee with the friendliest conversations. I truly hated to leave, but I made my reservations for my return trip before I left. "The Cliff House Inn" - it's a diamond of a gem in Arkansas.

I would give it 6 stars if I could. The food is outstanding, all freshly prepared, new items every year. The view is priceless. You can sit on the porch and just rock while having a beverage. Prices for the food and lodging are very reasonable. The hosts are very gracious. The fried shrimp and green tomatoes are the best anywhere.I come every year. The drive from any direction is wonderful.

Staff was very friendly, but the food is overpriced. I ordered the steak (I think it was sirloin, don't recall for sure), asked for it to be cooked rare to medium rare. It came out just shy of well done. Not really one to return food, so I ate it. It did have good flavor. I won't be back, especially when there are several better options a few minutes up the road in Jasper.
