Byron Bullard has serviced my family’s vehicles for over 20 years, and he always does top-notch work at a fair price. He always requires approval before beginning any work, and is ready at any time to give you the full background behind your vehicle’s issues. Highly Recommended!
Byron is honest. That is the first thing you need to know about any mechanic if you can find one!. I take all my cars here - from older fun cars to new models. He won't do what is not required. I have full confidence in Byron - he won't take advantage of people that are less knowledgeable about cars.
Bullard's takes time to make sure you are an expert with your own vehicle. They are very knowledgable and treat you like family.
I agree with these others. Byron is both extremely competent and honest. This a rare combination to find. As others have mentioned, he told me exactly what needed to be done, and what the car is worth. He fixed what needed to be done, and told me not to fix other things that were not worth it. Because of his help, I am able to drive my car safely, and got recommendations on when to get another one. I highly recommend him for any kind of automotive service.
Mr. Bullard is an honest mechanic that won't sell anything you don't need. He's right next to Columbia International University. He has morals and doesn't cheat you like some mechanics. I've brought my car to his shop many times, and if he doesn't think it needs to be fixed he'll tell you straight up, which is a rare find these days. When I go to other shops, they're always trying to upsell me things I don't need. You do need to make an appointment ahead of time since he's the only one doing it, but he is highly qualified. We've taken all our cars there for over 10 years.
Mr. Bullard has worked on multiple cars for our family and has always been honest with his repair assessments, thorough in the repairs performed and reasonable in his charges. I've recommended him to multiple friends/associates and will continue to do so.
First off, they are NOT closed and are still at this location! I took my car here to have the CV axle replaced on the recommendation of a friend and am very pleased. Worth the drive from where I live almost 30 minutes. I called and verbally set up an appointment and he was ready to get to work on my car. Fat service for a one-man shop and a very fair price for the work! He made sure that what I brought the car in for was really the issue and I'm confident hens not do work that's not needed. In this age of franchise tire/repair shops that try to upsale you services at every opportunity this is refreshing!
I went there to get my car inspected before a long drive from SC to WY. He was very trust worthy and didn't try to over work/charge me. Plus he was very nice and quick. I would go back to him and recommend him anyday.
Byron has serviced my cars, trucks, and vans for over 20 years. The last work preformed on my van 2001 Astro was a replacement of a broken stabilizer bar and a radiator flush. Thanks Byron for the years of friendship and faithful service. Jim Smoak
