Business Telephone Sales

Bee there and I will tell you confidently that Melanie is a perfectionist with refurbishing these phones and systems and she will not send out phones & systems that are defective or that even look ugly. They are good at at what they do except the customer service probably needs work. They don't do nicey nice but they take their business very serious behind the scenes. Perhaps they should get a "technical support person" or specific help line to help those customers who are not very knowledgable of how the phones or systems work or how to set them up specifically to what they ordered.

I would NOT recommend anyone to buy anything from this business. I was looking for a stand alone phone for my office, and when I got it, it was not working. I spoke to a Melanie a Sales Rep stated on the business card that was included in my package. Melanie said I needed a phone system & I told her that this is exactly what I was looking out for while I was shopping for a phone, I did not want any phone that used a phone system. This was not disclosed anywhere on the item page or the terms & conditions. She insisted that they had disclosed the information in the description. Long story short, I just wanted to return the phone but she said they would take off a RESTOCKING FEE of 7% and of course they do not have a shipping account, so they would NOT provide a shipping label for returns. Bottom line is: In the end, if you buy from them, you will simply get stuck with a useless "refurbished" old dirty phone. In all fairness, their policy should just say "NO RETURNS ALLOWED" because clearly their return policy absorbs all of your purchase costs. Buy at your own risk. I would never do business with them again!

I needed an expansion card for a very old Partner ACS system for a local restaurant. I contacted Business Telephone Sales to see if they had what I needed. Not only did they have what I needed, but the staff, especially Melanie McGill, was very knowledgeable about Partner systems. This was extremely helpful, as there are four different models, which over time were manufactured by three different companies. I was given multiple options and recommendations as to which was the optimum solution for my needs. The part even arrived a day early, which greatly pleased the restaurant owner. I will definitely use Business Telephone Sales for any of my future needs, and highly recommend them to any telephone equipment installer for parts and supplies.

In usually rely on the reviews I read on a company, but in researching this company I noticed something which made me suspicious of all the reviews I read. Elena Schwartz, who wrote a glowing review, talked about replacing her phones after the storms in the Northeast. But I found (a) she lives in FL; and (b) she is listed as the treasurer of the company! I wonder how many of the other glowing reviews are not valid.

Awesome experience. Phones arrive fast and quality is great. Have purchased over 100 phones at this point over the last 12 months and they are still going strong. Definitley recommend.
