Bought a Shabbos Heating tray. It cooked food turned it into charcoal instead of just warming it. Had to throw out the food, family was left without food for Shabbos. Brought back the tray and just got nonsense from salesperson. giving me all kinds of runaround like I should have used a timer with it and its designed to work like this. and instead of apologizing for the incident that the item was defective and compensating me for the trip from SI to Brooklyn, damaged table, and food and possible fire hazard, he reluctantly offered me store credit no refund. The only real issue was that he made me feel like it was my fault. I said I dont want anything from them and was willing to just leave the defective item there and walk out so he eventually agreed to substitute with an upgraded model, difference of $15 and even that he wanted to split in half. Not the first time I bought from them, but its the last. Online shopping is so much more hustle free, and no issues with parking or attitudes.
My tenant had a delivery of a washing machine and dryer. During delivery they broke the knob on my washing machine rendering it inoperable. The Buzz refused to do anything about it. They have a delivery service but refused to give me the company name, claiming it is a private person. That means their delivery is not insured. Beware. Do not buy there. Horrible service.
They have a nice variety of homegood products but the workers there aren't the sharpest tools in the shed. Very unhelpful. I was looking for a certain type of fan. I had to ask two different employees for it. One pointed me at the wrong direction. The other one told me they didn't have anything of that sort. I turned around and looked for a few more minutes and found exactly what I was describing to him. I went back to show him what I was referring to and he had nothing to say for himself. He was just being lazy and didn't want to help or hear from customers
Very good store. They have almost everything you need. But the reason I give them a review and 5 stars is because two weeks ago I bought timer for the AC for Shabbat on the Ave J & Coney store. On Friday afternoon I opened the timer and then realized it's not fit my AC because apparently my AC is 220V and the timer I bought was 125V. So I went after two weeks with open box to the store, and they said no problem and replaced me to 220, and got the 125v back - even though that I opened it, and actually it was my mistake. This what I call a great customer service. So I recommend this store.
Huge selection of home goods and cookware. They have a mikvah on premises and they help you out if you need help unpacking stuff. Slightly overpriced on some items and costumer service could be better. I would definitely recommend to a friend and I will be shopping her again.
The worst customer service you can find. everyone is charging $14.99 for SodaStream 60L cylinder and Buzz is charging $21.99. when i called the manager, he was so rude.......... will never go there and will tell all my friends the same. was told by the Manager "we didn't ask you to buy it here". nice......
i arrived 3 minutes before store opening and begged them to open the door since i was on my way to the airport and running late- they wouldn't open the door even though they were all standing around inside doing nothing- that could be understood i guess but they were also very rude and gruff about it once they opened the door instead of being welcoming an friendly. to make matters worse, they sold me the wrong adapter for international voltage which i only realized once i was already abroad. this experience was a BIG ZERO in my book. will not be returning.
