This is by far the best experience I've had with nail salons in the DC area. I've tried some other popular nail spas, but they are always super crowded, the space is very narrow, and the smell is absolutely unbearable. I'v been a regular in Cabana spa now and every time I come it's never crowded and always a relaxing experience. Although they don't offer alcohol just tea or coffee, I actually prefer it that way! The staff is very friendly and kind, professional, attentive, and prices are affordable. The manicures and pedicures are done professionally and look great! I highly recommend this place!
I regularly go to Cabana for my pedicures, my feet go through a total transformation here. They are thorough & meticulous, so be sure to mention if you have to be somewhere after your service. Saturday I got a deep tissue massage from Andy and I highly recommend him. His energy, personality & level of expertise make for a relaxing visit. The quality of work, customer service & environment at Cabana make this my weekly destination. Go with confidence & enjoy.
I first came to this shop about 8 years ago, it was a regular nail place. Today I was in search for another place that was open late and saw the banner for Cabana. Apparently, the new owner just bought it out. Andy was very nice, look me in late at 9 pm for manicure and pedicure The place it VERY clean and the techs were extremely nice. The pedicure chairs a brand new with a bunch of options. Definitely will return and I would recommend this place to anybody!
I’m from out of town Seattle and I desperately needed my nails to be filled. This was close by and I asked if they did a fill, but they said no, but they did dips and can help me switch to that. I thought, sure. They were so helpful and I can tell they have a lot of customers that come back to them, because the woman I sat next to mentioned she did and following customers that came by sounded like they did. They had fun with their customers and made sure everything is what they wanted. The technician I worked with was also meticulous and made sure that the nails looked clean and good. Also, dip powder is amazing. I do recommend this place! But, I will note, that I was unsure about the cleanliness of the tools. I didn’t see a UV lamp or anything to clean the tools, and I immediately sat down after someone ha studied nails done, so I didn’t see the tech switch tools, which is why I do knock a star off.
They are not only unbelievably friendly and competitively priced, but hands-down the most quality nail spa in the area. My girlfriend has also been to many “massage therapists” in DC, but says Andy at Cabana is without a doubt the best massage she’s had in DC, and maybe ever. Cabana deserves your business.
This is my all-time favorite nail place in DC, maybe ever! The staff here are so attentive and the manicures and pedicures I’ve received have been really long lasting. The spa is new and clean and I literally cannot wait to get massages, etc. done here too! Also, their prices are some of the best I’ve seen. Could not recommend more.
After reading so many positive reviews, I had really high hopes for this nail salon, but sadly it disappointed, not once but twice. The first time, I had an appointment and showed up about 5 minutes early only to be told that they had forgotten about me and I had to come back in an hour. Wasn’t super happy with that, but wanted to give them a try so I came back. When I did, it was interesting to see that everyone who came in was offered something to drink and a choice of what kind of pedicures they wanted: I was offered neither. The pedicure wasn’t anything spectacular, but I decided to give this place another try in case this was just an off day. Made another appointment for me and my friend. We showed up and were taken in on time and this time offered something to drink. However, my friend had to tell his technician to stop and slow down. She was rushing to get done with him for whatever reason and it was not enjoyable. The owner ended up switching his technician and he had a better experience. I, again, had an ok pedicure but nothing spectacular. We were going to go back, me for a third time, but when I tried to get an appointment the woman just kept telling me that she wouldn’t give me an appointment with the tech I wanted on the date I requested and refused to answer about other dates or times this tech was available. So, I stopped trying and haven’t returned. Glad it’s worked for others, but the quest for a good nail salon in DC continues for me. The mediocrity and struggle for appointments isn’t worth it. Two stars, however, for cleanliness.
I’m a regular at Cabana Day Spa and I just have to say Andy and Soon are amazing at what they do. They’re experts who take their skills seriously and do anything to please us while also being attentive to our bodies and health. Kind of odd to say right? Well, because of their dynamic knowledge, they can tell you in which direction your nail will grow, possible pain indicators, or the health of your nails/cuticles so even though you’d think so, they don’t clip everyone’s nails, cuticles, etc the same. It’s like they quietly asses as they to us just look like they’re doing what every other nail salon does. They also teach you a lot about what to do to make your nails stronger. They take preventative measures that account for a lot. Also, both give really good massages. Andy is the message therapist but Soon does hand and foot sometimes too. They both have a sense of the perfect amount of pressure depending on the part of the body they’re on. Cleanliness and sanitization here is outstanding , it’s always quiet and relaxing, and smells great every time. No overwhelming “nail salon smell”. I travel across town to get my nails done and always will. They are my favorite and worth it every time.
I treated my spouse on his birthday for a couples massage here and THIS WAS THE BEST MASSAGE I HAVE EVER HAD! The masseuse was SO intuitive and new exactly where I had been hurting without even having to tell them. Hands down, amazing and worth going! The staff was so kind and helpful!
I am very particular about my nails and I absolutely loved this place. Soon did a great job and paid great attention to detail throughout the whole process. I received a gel mani a regular pedi. Everything was flawless and I am definitely going back again and asking for Soon to do my nails.
