Cafe Piquet

I LOVE this place. Great food, nice atmosphere, good wine list. My favorites are gazpacho, lamb chops, snapper, and their famous apple tart - to die for!! The only drawback is that it can be hard to make a reservation for a busy time, so you have to plan ahead, which I'm not always able to do. But totally worth it. Also, always plenty of parking in the back.

These guys are definitely not cheap, not like a let's grab some take away food on a Wednesday night type of place. I know nothing about Cuban cuisine, but we all have really loved their food. We've never ordered something we didn't like (even if we don't know what it is). We are treated so good here every time we go. I'd like to be able to afford to go here more often! These guys are golden in my book! Please keep up the excellent, helpful, and friendly customer service!

A little bit on the pricey side however food and service were very good. From the appetizers to desserts and including the juices from the bar everything was perfect. Black beans and rice tasted amazing. This was not our first time so expectations were very high based on our first experience. Plenty of parking and great ambiance to go with the great food.

This quiet unassuming gem offers superb asian fusion cuisine. The duck dish I had there reminded me of a very similar dish at Clancy's in New Orleans. It is hard to find good restaurants where the noise level is not overpowering, but this is one of them. Love their bread rolls too.

This is the best Cuban restaurant in Houston! Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious. They have Domino's regularly and Cuban coffee that will keep you up for days, probably playing dominoes. LOL I really love this restaurant.
