The food was really good. However the line can get long and take a while to get through. It reminds me very much of Chipotle. However this restaurant chain does have more variety.
This location was subpar to others that I have visited. There was 1 person working the line when there were plenty of others to help. Ingredients were cross contaminated with each other. Food tasted okay, but no where near the quality that I've previously experienced from this franchise.Food: 3/5
Love the barbacoa. I would like to see more a la cart items like 1 enchilada or an option for smaller portions. I really love the food. I also love the point system. I have gotten free food often. Kid-friendliness: Has a 2 item kid menu
Filthy restaurant! Staff was rude. Gave me a attitude over salt packets, apparently they don't carry salt and did not apologize for the inconvenience. They need serious training. Food was just OK, overpriced for what you get and overall quality is disappointing. Probably why restaurant is 80 percent empty at lunch time. Not worth the trouble. Never thought I would miss Chipotle.
Ordered online - showed up ontime and still had to wait an extra 45min. After I wanted to cancel my order they said they could NOT give me my money back or a credit. Said I would see on my bank account in 48hrs. This has happened twice and both times NO credit was ever issued! Terrible money back policy in place at Cafe Rio! Needs to be fixed asap!
Came to this place when it first opened, I did expect for them to be a little crazy packed. And the food was good that day. But not great I have gone to the one in Redlands and I was very impressed with that one the food was great every time I went and service as well. I've gone two times to this location in Rancho and I've had bad luck with my food so far. I gave it one more try today and I'm definitely not going to come back to this one at least. My rice was undercooked it was very crunchy my beans were still little hard. Also make sure you ask if anything that you are adding to your meal is extra because sometimes they don't tell you till after they put it onto your plate. My kids added because a guy you're onto their burrito and dating let them know till after the fact they had ordered it on top of their food. Shredded chicken was included in my meal but if you wanted to change it to the other kind of chicken then it's extra. My husband's burrito was okay a little on the salty side. My kids had a different kind of burrito they really liked it and it was really good.
The food is ok there and but so limited on sauces to add to the salads... If they had more sauces, I would def choose them over chipotle.
Placed a mobile order and not only was it not ready at the specified time, which wasn't my issue but they hadn't even started the order. Other than that the food was pretty good.
The food tastes good, but the guacamole was brown and old. Kids can only choose quesadillas. Let’s just say what everyone here is thinking...it’s Chipotle with a few more options.
New Foodie alert! This was one of the best Mexican restaurant experiences in awhile. Food is farm to table and FRESH. Yes, I said Fresh. Five SMILE #TEAMSMILEY
