Cafe Yumm! - 7th & Pine

I came to pick up some bags for a delivery, and there were about 4 other deliveries sitting out next to mine in the lobby. I tried to be friendly and say hi, and told them that I was indeed with a delivery service just so they would know I wasn't a customer rummaging through their neatly organized piles. The lady at the front told me coldly that "if it is in the lobby it is done, if it isn't in the lobby it isn't done." and went back to whatever she was doing. OK.... I go check and I see my order in the lobby so I assume that it's done. Being the thorough person I am, I checked my order and found that one bag was missing. I went back to the counter and politely told the lady that my order was missing a bag. She snapped at me immediately and said in a sharp tone "Yes. If it isn't out there than it isn't done." Then one or two people in the kitchen line snickered triumphantly as though they had just been complaining about how dumb customers were, and somehow treating me like garbage brought balance back into the suffrage of the food industry. Got it.... so by "it" she had meant "bag" the whole time, where I was thinking "it" meant "my whole order". Glad I didn't just assume and drive 15 miles away without one of my bags over that communication slip. In any case... maybe the food is good there... and maybe not... but with dozens of other places to eat within a 4 minute walking radius, I don't imagine I'll be stepping foot in there for anything other than work.

Cheap and healthy lunch options! There are many bowls and sandwich choices to choose from with lots of vegetables and protein options, and you can also make your own. You will get great value for the price and leaving well-nourished. Although not vegetarian, I really like the tempeh on top of my bowl! My partner had chicken and said it was tasty!

Very tasty! A bit like poke, if feels good to eat it and you don't leave the table feeling heavy. Yumm! describes the experience. The original bowl was great. Only thing was the sticky table, but the value for money here was very reasonable so I tend to ignore it.

I go once a week, good stuff. Only critique is if you're going to eat there, bring a wet wipe for the table. They're ALWAYS sticky and gross.

No complaints about the quality of food, but fusion places are always a bit hit or miss. I ordered a wrap and found it unremarkable. The bento my partner order seemed a bit too salty.
