I would suggest it to anyone for any event. My husband and I had a small casual wedding reception there in their back room for about 2.5 years ago. We chose the place mainly because of the location its walking distance from good hotels and things to do. Their back room was perfect for 55 people or smaller. The separate entrance allowed for a private feel. The food was quality and outstanding and the drinks were the best we have had. My dad wanted there to be a great steak option and it did not disappoint! I am extremely thankful for the good impeccable service, because my family can be picky about that so I was nervous. They were so extremely attentive. It was the perfect space for everyone to sit, mingle and have a delicious meal which is exactly what you want when you gather with family.

We always like the warm, intimate interior here. Perfect for a comfort food meal on a cool evening. Two of us had the chicken, but it wasn't as good as I remember from a few years ago. It's a roulade (rolled up with bacon) with lots of flavor but mine was dry. It came on a bed of just so-so cheesy grits. Our friends had the burger and they were very happy with them. We shared 3 deserts. The malt ice cream was good, the apple fritters were great, but the chocolate mousse was made without sugar, either in the mousse itself or the whipped cream topping. Tedious to say the least and a little gritty. It was left on the table half eaten. The staff was pleasant and efficient but not engaging.

Weekday Brunch was amazing!! The food quality was out of this world (best waffles I've literally ever had). And even tho the outdoor seating is roadside, it was lovely. Seating for a bigger person tho, was difficult

A nice place but crowded. You would need a reservation. Food is good but non spicy. Use a lot of organic ingredients. Bar is generally quite busy. Prices are slightly on the upper side. Portions are good sized a fairly upscale clientele. Decor is quaint and working class because they have preserved the looks and furniture from the time it used to serve as the actual local union office and hangout for blue collared workers. In fact the name is also from the same era. Definitely worth going once and maybe more if you like American style food and don't find it costly.

Had forgotten about this place until we we're downtown and tell daughter wanted to stop for breakfast. It was great last time and great again. The name says all you need to know about the wares. The service is outstanding and the flavors are always wonderful! Go check this place out! It also has a cool vibe.
