A coffee, dessert spot so great they named it twice. A cozy little place that’s always packed. They have so many different flavored coffee options and great desserts. There is always excellent service here. I am never disappointed and I come here a lot. They have indoor and outdoor seating.
Came here with my girlfriend for lunch, arrived and ordered before 2 PM. We received our coffees just fine, but did not get any food for over 30 mins. After giving up, we approached the owner? to pay for our drinks and leave. I mentioned to her that we were waiting far too long for a bagel and grilled cheese. She then proceeded to ask the waitress how long we were there for, to which the waitress bold-face lied and said about 17 mins, although we were there before 2 PM and it was just about to hit 2:40. We then received a very passive aggressive comment of "I don't think 17 minutes is too long of a wait for food" from the owner?. I didn't even want an apology or anything, just wanted to pay for my drinks and leave. To their credit, they did give us the food for free, but both items were incredibly burnt and stale see pictures attached. I could not imagine waiting 17 mins for these items, let alone almost 40. I have been to this Cafe before and never had any issues. I believe what happened was they had an influx of customers walk in right after we ordered and they likely forgot about our order. I personally did not like how my justified complaint was questioned. The passive aggressiveness and outright lie from the staff was also very insulting. I would suggest they should do better at priorizing customers based on when they order and a much better job at customer service.
I have to thank the owner Mary Anne and manager Kelley Lynch , the sisters and community that helped us with open arms during a fatal hit and run of my father-in-law in Brooklyn on September 11, 2024. He worked at this cafe for several years and was loved by this community. They helped us throughout our difficult times from Canada and the community helped raise money for us. I can't say much more how beautiful these people from Cafe Cafe were and the staff. Upon my next return I will go have some more wonderful coffee and some food and continue to grow our friendship with these beautiful people of Brooklyn Bay Ridge people at Cafe Cafe to enjoy the moment. A big thank to all staff that day to Larissa, Cassidy and other staff who attended my family on October 4, 2024. Cafe Cafe, is a wonderful place to sit and chat, have a great coffee or grab some nice food and relax and feel happy about this community. i recommend that people get to know this place called Cafe Cafe.and enough a beautiful place. S Hugs from my family from Canada and Ecuador!
This is the most adorable cafe I've ever been to with the cutest decor. The ambience alone is enough to earn this place five stars, but they do have good coffee and pastries as well. Definitely worth a visit, especially during the winter!Food: 5/5
Super cute Cafe! Street parking for New York but I love how cute it is inside and the staff was really friendly! I stopped by to grab stuff to eat and some coffee. We had the specials - Serendipity and Super Blue. I asked for them to be less sweet but both were absolutely delicious. I ordered the Ham and Cheese Croissant and the Panini The Portino? I can't quite remember. Both were delicious! I definitely recommend coming here. The desserts and baked goods look really good too!. The two lattes and sandwiches and the Crumb cake was about $33. The sandwiches also came with chips. Will be coming back!
A staple in the area! Delicious warm drinks, and small treats that compliment the drinks really well. The smoothies are a little watery, but the flavor still tastes good. The people at the counter are very charismatic, I always leave here feeling like I had a pleasant experience, even if I just stopped in briefly.Food: 5/5
Caffè Café is a nice local shop in Bay Ridge to just grab a little bite or coffee! Their coffee blend is rich with flavor, especially the Almond Nut Latte with Almond Milk. The café features a cozy interior atmosphere 1 hour limit inside with outdoor seating alongside the place and at the curbside. I think that the barista crew were great and pretty kind! Would definitely recommend for a chill small hangout, a date, or just to get some work & studying done! I will be coming back again!
I have stopped in before for an espresso break and the staff has always been friendly. Most recently, while walking from 59th Street, needed a pit stop and dropped by. The crew was all very accommodating and, after saying I was dining in, they suggested having a seat and they brought my food to the table. Ordered an iced chai latte and a pistachio muffin, and they were both tasty! Great place!
Don’t go here if you don’t want to feel disrespected. The staff’s attitude is disgusting. The old white lady who took my order gave me and my mom dirty looks and was mumbling things under her breath while I was ordering. She also rudely told my mom and I that we cannot have any outside food, even though we were not dining in. We literally ordered one cup of coffee to go. There was another white guy behind the counter and another white girl, they kept uncomfortably staring at my mom and I. For reference, I’m Arab. If you’re Arab/hijabi, don’t go there for coffee or for anything. Not only was the coffee terrible, but the workers attitude was even worse. How can you be discriminative to Arabs in BAY RIDGE?? So so soooooooooo dumb.
I recently visited this café and was deeply disappointed by the owner’s discriminatory behavior. It was shocking and upsetting to witness such blatant racism in a place that should be welcoming to all. I believe businesses should be inclusive and respectful, and sadly, this café does not uphold those values. I strongly urge others to reconsider supporting this establishment until they address and change their unacceptable behavior.
