Caliber Collision

I chose this Caliber based on the overall reviews of this location over the other Caliber locations that would have been closer. I went to Caliber based on the USAA referral. The work was minor bumper damage from a rear end collision. The bumper and a few other parts needed to be replaced, and bumper painted. The interactions I had with the team at Caliber were good and they were very helpful in setting up the repair and coordinating with Enterprise for the rental car. My issues are with the workmanship. I received the car when it was raining, so couldn’t really check out the workmanship until the rain cleared up. Upon inspection, it was clear that the paint on the bumper did not match the rest of the car. I called Caliber and scheduled time to return and have them look at it. They did respond well by scheduling the car as soon as I could to redo the work and set up the rental car. Unfortunately, when I picked up the car the second time I had another issue. The paint matched well this time but there was a wire harness hanging down from the backend, and the automatic tailgate function no longer worked. I didn’t discover this until the next day when I was inspecting the work. Again in talking to the shop, this time with the GM, and he was good about trying to setup a resolution to the problem. Unfortunately, this should never have happened. I understand the first time, kind of, as mistakes can happen. The second time, additional care should have been taken to make sure the car was done correctly. I now question the quality of the redone job and how long it will last. Were other corners cut to rush out the redone job? I ended up fixing the hanging cable myself. I was also a bit offended when the GM minimized the initial issue saying that the ‘paint color matched, but in the right light looked a little different’ and that is just not the case. The attached image shows it was completely wrong and should never have passed any level of quality control. Edit: although they respond to every Google review with what looks like concern and an email to contact them, they do not actually do anything with that. Is it all for show only? Fast service and excellent repairs. After the accident, they made sure that the necessary repairs were completed and matched the color completely! Caliber Collision walked me through the process of getting my car repaired. They kept me up to date on how the repair was progressing and worked hard to secure one of the parts needed. The car was completed before the estimated time and looks like new.

This Caliber is very kind and professional. They take the time to explain everything they did and try to fit your budget. This Caliber far exceeded my expectations. They even cleaned my car : I would 100% recommend this Caliber and I would go again!!

He took the time to explain what needed to be done to my car and was very knowledgeable and presented the solution and took his time to make sure I understood. My daughter-in-law borrowed our car for a Dr's appt and was involved in an accident with the right front bumper and fender. While the damage looked minor just scrapes and scratches on the front right bumper and fender there was hidden interior damage that needs to be repaired. They are an approved insurance repair company, and they did a good job. I would use them again.Service: Body & Trim

Excellent group of people who understand how stressful an accident in your car can be. I can’t see any difference in the parts of the car that were damaged. It looks just like new!
