Friendly, knowledgeable and not harsh when you have setbacks. Found the staff very understanding and willing to work with insurance changes and scheduling conflicts. Great crew and good equipment. Willing to help me achieve my fitness and health goals. Thanks!

Coast Rehab, with Gary Van Dyke and Ismansjah in particular are very knowledgeable and patient. I recently had them help me with a shoulder issue and Gary worked with me and my daily schedule to arrive at a set of exercises that would be beneficial to my shoulder and allow me to complete them on a daily basis. Ismansjah helped me 13 years ago after I had back surgery. He provided an excessive routine that was focused yet only takes me 10-12 minutes to complete each day. I still complete these exercises (almost) daily and have not had any back issues. Thanks to these professionals I can complete a reasonable number of exercises regularly to live a pain free and healthy life.

I received word via email from my insurance that I was okayed to receive physical therapy from COAST. I was a little surprised because I had not chosen COAST, in fact COAST had not returned my two previous calls while I looked for a PT. The third time I called and spoke to someone, they said they hadn't received the paperwork yet. I can't imagine why the insurance would tell me otherwise, but figured it was a simple glitch I could fix before the appointment. Their policy is "no paperwork, no appointment". I consider this a bit silly since, ultimately, I am responsible via insurance or cash. It went downhill from there. It ended with Dr. Gerry being fairly snide and calling me a liar. I don't need all that hassle or drama, I just need some PT. If you are looking for a compassionate company with empathy for your pain, look elsewhere.
