One of my favorite places in town. Delicious salsas. Everyone is always friendly and relaxed, love the atmosphere. Highly recommend.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: No
The food is always fresh, well seasoned, and the baked goods are top notch.Food: 5/5
So good! Reasonable prices, excellent fresh food, clean atmosphere, and friendly staff. I'll be back for sure!
I recently ordered two burritos from her. They were both excellent. Definitely going back to try other things!
It's a calm place and with okay food, sure some was too greasy and the salsa tasted like to much tomato it's okay to just stop by and eat a light meal.Food: 3/5
I ordered from DoorDash 2 steak tacos and an order of Enchiladas Verde con Spicy Pork. It was ok. The food arrived hot and fresh but the enchiladas weren’t memorable…not bad…just not as tasty bad I have had at other places. The tacos were pretty good. They include 2 salsas that really helped bring flavor to the rest of the food. I’d be willing to try them again because they have some other food that could be promising.
I was hesitant to write this review. It's not my intention to hurt this business in any way. However I think it's important to share my experience with the business owner and people who rely on this platform for recommendations. I got food poisoning from this restaurant. I went to this restaurant with high expectations. It was recommended to me by a friend. The food had a distinct taste. The beans were tangy and the rice heavy with spices. I attributed the flavors to regional cooking, after all Mexican food can be very regional with distinct tastes. The main dish were the chicken enchiladas. The chicken enchiladas also had a very distinct taste. The chicken was sweet. Honestly, it did not taste like any Mexican food I've ever had. I did not enjoy the taste of it. I did not finish the beans because they were tangy, the rice filled with spices and the chicken was sweet. I left disappointed but also bewildered by the taste. Several hours later I began to experience sharp stomach pains with diarrhea and several other symptoms such as headaches. I experienced this for two days. I also could not hold my food long enough to properly digest it. After doing some research, I came to the conclusion that I had food poisoning. And that I got it from this restaurant. This place needs to be inspected by the city. At a minimum, please stop serving spoiled or contaminated food.
This place is an absolute diamond this food is some of the best Mexican food I have ever eaten period anywhere in homes or other mexican restaurants the flavor of the Bastic Al a Mexicana just explodes in your mouth the sauce penatrates the onions and peppers along with the steak, wow this place is really a hidden gem in Memphis all I can say is visit and enjoy to the fullest this is 10 all day when it comes to Mexican food
I really like this bakery, the quality of the bread is better that other mexican bakeries I've been the selection is great and so fresh, the cakes are awesome too my husband got me one for my birthday this week and it was great tres leches and cajeta the only bad thing is that you need to have/pay cash if you are buying less than $10.00 ... seems like is a way to make you spend more money. Only for that...4 stars.
The food and the service is great! Food is authentic and delicious. The bread is good. The service is exceptional. I would recommend to try the champurrado.
