Camp Earl Wallace

Absolutely beautiful place. My daughter is a camp councler there and she loves it.

surprisingly, Camp Earl Wallace was not what it seemed to be when my daughter went there. Most of the counselors were very rude. And when changing after swimming the campers were only given two minutes to do so. I was told that a camper had a crush on a counselor, but did not tell the counselor that she had one on him or hinted at it at all. the information got passed on to a counselor and when the camper was talked to she was called "inappropriate" for having a completely harmless crush. another friend of my child was told by the swimming counselor that she did not try even though she completed a talk the right way even though it only took her about two or three times. And the counselors hive the children no privacy whatsoever, my child as told that there were microphones in the cabins and the bathhouses since they can't have cameras. campers are also not allowed to go to their cabins to get spending money or any other necessities while at free time. children are also not allowed to go to the bathhouses during free time either. even though they have porta-potties my main concern is for the children that are on their periods, and that they leave the porta-potties in the sun directly in the area where the campers play, eat snacks from the canteen, or just take a break. and after they go to the restroom they have nothing to wash their hands with! My child asked a counselor for hand sanatizer ans the counselor told her that she would be fine and that she did not need to wash her hands after going to the restroom. for the whole week she as there she never got to wash her hand because they never filled the soap dispenser. and in the bathhouse there were four toilets and if they were clogged only maybe one or to of them were fixed or just not at all!
