The Center For Courageous Kids

I learned about the Center for Courageous Kids several years ago, and we go about once a year. They are amazing! They are for disabled children and their families. During the summer, they have camps for the kids only and they provide all of the care they need. During the rest of the year, they have family weekends. They provide each family with a private den and a volunteer. There is a schedule of activities and each family can choose what they want to do. CCK provides food for a variety of diets, and a medical team in case there is some need for that. There's a helipad for the worst case scenarios. The best part is that all of this is at no cost to the family. They exist on donations alone. My children love visiting and if it's been a while, they ask when we're returning. I'm so happy that we found such an amazing place and they've become a part of our "village."

Awesome place! So many awesome people and businesses who give by donating time, supplies, money & other things! Special Kids with special needs & their families are given an opportunity to be a normal kid while they visit for free! Camps are scheduled according to conditions such as CF, Blindness, AIDS, along with many more! This place is truly a gift from God for anyone who stays or just stops by! You will get a blessing no matter who you are! Thanks to The Turner's who made this dream possible!

One of the most amazing places ever!! The staff is great, and the facilities are top notch!! You can feel the love the minute you enter the front gates!!!

This was our first time here.my children loved it and my daughter with CP was even able to shoot the bow and my autistic son loved all the activities
