Story

Canine Corral has an awesome, brand new doggie daycare facility. It's conveniently located between Salem, Dallas & Independece just off Hwy 22 & Hwy 51. For doggie comfort it has rubber matted floors, spacious windows for natural light, hydronic radiant floor heat & air conditioning. We offer flexible, commuter-friendly hours. Be sure to check us out for Day Camps, Overnight Camps (in a Day Camp setting - NOT indoor/outdoor kennel runs) & training either in a class or private lessons.

Canine Corral also does photography - specializing in dogs, horses, livestock and anything on the farm.

The training we received for our 1 yr old large breed puppy was excellent. We were beginning to experience some real issues with his behavior and for safety reasons thought we were going to have to give him back to the shelter we rescued him from. We were heartbroken and at our wits end, but with Brenda's help and encouragement we were able to get the situation turned around. Brenda not only took the time to listen to the problems we were having, she had many great ideas which showed us immediate improvement! Thanks to Brenda & Canine Corral we are able to not only love our puppy, but also enjoy him again!
If you are looking for a safe and friendly place to board your dog look no further. Brenda and her staff are very professional and knowledgeable. I had never left my dog in the care of someone else before and just knowing he was in a safe environment with people who truly care made our separation so much easier. My dog and I have started participating in a training class at the Canine Corral, my dog and I are learning so much and it's fun!
I have been bringing my 6 yr. old lab mix for day care for 2 1/2 yrs. Once a week, regularly. I use the Corral for boarding as well and I have never had any issues. My dog absolutely loves to spend the day there and she is exhausted when she gets home. Brenda is great with the dogs. She is patient and kind. Highly recommend. Suzanne
Our dog goes to daycare at Canine Corral once a week and she definitely knows when it's her day. She LOVES going! And when she gets to stay longer for a vacation, I swear she hardly has time to miss us. Brenda and her staff are simply amazing.
Brenda and her staff are terrific! We have two high-energy working dogs who would be miserable sitting home alone all day - so they get to go to doggy daycare with Brenda a couple of days a week. We've patronized various places from Portland to Corvallis over the years, and Canine Corral is the best. She mixes doggy fun with a calm and orderly, and most important SAFE environment. The staff are conscientious, and take the time to make sure problem behaviors don't escalate e.g. barking, jumping, leash pulling. They all love dogs and they love what they do. No question - great care at a fair price.
Canine Corral is a great place to train or board dogs. I took my 1 year old lab, that I only had for a month, to Canine Corral and after her first few classes she is doing great!!! The way Brenda teaches makes it very easy for dogs, and owners to learn and have fun at the same time! If you are anywhere near Salem and are looking for a trainer I would definitely recommend them.
