They've really given up at this place. You can't find an employee on the floor 80% of the time to help with anything, especially buying fish. I have to stand in the check out line to ask for an employee to help and then they call someone and magically 3 or 4 employees come out from wherever they were hiding. Employees that are on the floor actively avoid eye contact, don't ask if we need help, don't wear Petco apparel, and wear their badges in weird places or not on display at all so I am concerned I might be approaching just a random customer for help. For the most part though employees, once found, are helpful and the store is clean relatively well stocked.
A hot mess. I came in on Monday looking for a walk-in nail trim for my elderly dog. Website says nail trims are walk-in only. But on Monday they're missing half their staff so they say I should come back Tuesday. On Tuesday I come in to find out grooming is CLOSED. Wednesday I call first to confirm that they 're there and to say I'm on my way for a nail trim. They encourage me to make an appointment. I tell them the website says those are walk-in only. They say oh yeah, that's right, so come on in. I get there and they tell me they need to see a rabies certificate, which I don't carry in my pocket, of course, and which nobody mentioned before. So they encourage me to set up a time to come back a FOURTH time for a 10-minute service. I will not be back.
Wish the employees had to wear name tags. Some, are extremely rude and I would have liked to make some complaints and express some concerns. THANKFUL for Glenn and august always being so kind, and actually knowledgeable about animals…
Do NOT take your dogs here for grooming. Not only did they give my pomerianian a cut MUCH shorter than I'd asked for despite pulling up a picture of something that could reasonably be achieved, but his cut is uneven and patchy and he still had tangles behind his ears and neck on top of everything else. A blindfolded middleschooler could've done a better job. I will never come back.
Recently took my dog to PetCo for grooming. Liz was wonderful. She listened to my concerns and offered affordable options. She was attentive to my dog’s personal needs
Very overbearing trying to sell me programs and such at the register, when she asked if I am Petco rewards which I said no she told me to sign up so I can get the sale price on one of my items, so I gave my name and phone number, so I got to my car and looked at my receipt and the LADY HAD LIED TO ME!!! Nothing I had was on sale and she told me it was to get me to sign up. That's gross, it makes me question this stores integrity for sure. I would also like to note last time I was in the store I almost left a bad review because the same lady who tricked me today was at the door "training" a new employee, but it just made my visit awkward because she was yelling at the poor kid telling him he has to ask everyone if they need help, meanwhile it was that trainee who helped me find the food I was looking for and earlier I felt like that manager was ignoring me when I was trying to obviously be looking for help!
A very nice store, well stocked, and very friendly staff who are clearly animal lovers! Absolutely love this location!! If you have a pet, any pet, GO HERE! She approves, your fur babies will too!
The salon did an excellent job on my two cats this morning. Definitely a repeat customer. Lea does an excellent job with both my cats. I highly recommend her.
Great place. Even though the kid I asked for info was rather short on feedback about treats. He did his very best to help. It was 5 min till close and he was way out of his area to fill the gap. So good hustle five star
Omg the people are so rude and the company doesn't care. The prices are so high the least they could do is give good customer service.
