Cannon Pharmacy

Inconvenient, incompetent, unprofessional, unhygienic, illegal. Asked if they were in-network with my insurance and they said that they didn't know but they had my insurance information and would file if participating. I confirmed with my insurance that they are in-network. Then they fill my Rx and the receipt says that they didn't go through my insurance. Ugh. The only reason that I transferred to them was because they were in-network. So, I then transfer my Rx from Cannon to a new pharmacy and Cannon lies and tells my new pharmacy that I have no refills left. I submit photos of my most recent Rx with the label detailing that I have refills remaining. Then, Cannon finally transfers the Rx with remaining refills. What a hassle. And this was me giving Cannon another chance. Back when there was an indoor mask mandate due to the COVID pandemic, the pharmacy staff wasn't following the mandate. Medical professionals not following medical protocols?! Disturbing. And then they don't check my ID when picking up a controlled substance?? Illegal! And, no, the cashier didn't know me. Anyone could have walked in and got my prescription and then I wouldn't have been able to get my medicine for 30 days. When I asked if they wanted to check my ID, the cashier was rude to me!?

Undeniably the most courteous, professional, accomadating pharmacy in the entire region. It has a real hometown feel and they're very professional and friendly.. Chantel is a great asset and knows everyone by name. The delivery service is always on time and goes out of their way to make sure your order is received before they leave!

I was calling around all the pharmacies in the Charlotte area trying to find a prescription that is in short supply these days. Cannon told me on the phone that they could get it, but it would be a "special order" and cost $190 despite the fact that my insurance has a $20 copay across the board . I double checked and gave them my insurance information again and they still said it would be $190. I was desperate so I paid, but nothing lined up with my insurance and the information the pharmacy gave me. My insurance claim said they covered $142.42 out of $162.42, leaving the expected $20 copay. Cannon, however, had the copay of $20 printed on the prescription but crossed out WITH A MARKER and $190 written in place. They also show that insurance paid $112.89, which doesn't match anything else. Long story short, I called my insurance and they got suspicious, called the pharmacy, and apparently the pharmacy told them they ran it up as a "cash price" and immediately decided that a refund was in order. Feels like they tried to take me for a ride and didn't expect me to call them out about it. Not pleased, will not be back. I genuinely hope it was a clerical error, but if you are desperate for your medication and the cost doesn't seem in-line with your insurance, go elsewhere.

This place is THE BEST ! Think “The Chick Fil-a of pharmacies”, minus political bias….. AND THEY DELIVER ! I scheduled a vaccine, then called back asking to reschedule. They rescheduled, and when I went in they got me out in like 3 min - 2 min of which was paperwork. A+ all the way you’ll be glad you chose Cannon !

Friendly and helpful folks. Prices not too bad for a smaller-type pharmacy ie not Wal-Mart. Unsure about range of delivery area so would be worth a call if curious. A nice place.

I have to thank the Pharmacist Amanda!! I am waiting 2 days for my Amazon order of Xeroform and I was turned down by 3 ER and Urgent care for Xeroform. She held some for me while I drove and had them waiting with my name!!! THANK YOU!!

Cannon feels like family, but has larger pharmacy services. Staff are much friendly than other retail pharmacy chains. They also deliver which is a very nice service. Very happy I made the switch to Cannon.

I love Cannon Pharmacy. They have gone out of their way to offer excellent Pharmacy service to me.

I just had my son's prescriptions filled there. I received a call to update me on the status. Their service is efficient and professional. The staff is very nice and courteous. I truly appreciate it.

Jennifer at the SouthPark location is absolutely awesome! I can't say enough good things about her. Our family has complex prescription needs with kids away at college and then back at home. She always takes great care to make sure the medications arrive on time and at the right place! Their delivery service is such a great help for our busy lifestyle! I highly recommend Cannon Pharmacy!
