The customer service was a little off not too friendly but overall a good experience for $4 tacos it wasn’t too bad. Grilled vegetable taco and Chorizo potato taco. Almost tasted like chili, potentially good but not very authentic tasting although the environment as well as staff make it seem like a more authentic Mexican restaurant experience. Service was fast, might I mention!
Family owned and everything is made from scratch. I don't think you really need to go anywhere else for good Mexican food and the price point is very reasonable. The owner is so accommodating. The pandemic took a little hit on the restaurant business but this place is wide open and has outdoor seating nice bar and really great food. They will make dietary options if need be.
The owner of this restaurant is really kind and makes an effort to welcome all guests he made us some special margs last week!. The food is great and the drinks are great. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for some warm food and a good time! They have been around Union square for a long time and deserve your visit!
Friends took us to Cantina La Mexicana on our trip to Boston and I'm so glad they did! The restaurant has a relaxed vibe, with several different seating areas. Service could have been quicker, but overall was congenial. Food overall was outstanding. The salsa was tasty, chips crunchy, and margaritas strong. The beef quesadillas were particularly delicious - definitely get them. Excited to come back!
So glad to see this place is still here! Moved a little ways away a couple years ago and have missed it. Their patio out back is really cozy and their margaritas are as good and strong as I remember! Food was fast and tasty too.
I love this place. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and makes some excellent eats. My food always comes out quickly and is delicious. I usually get a steak burrito but no matter what I get, it is great!
I love this place! Great place to bring a group and the marg pitchers are fantastic. I've been going there pretty regularly over the past few years and the service is wonderful every time. Shout out to Robert! He loves his regulars!
We go to this place regularly and every time we are amazed how nice the owner is. He is super friendly, very kind person. Food is always delicious and sauces are to die for.
I went for Valentines with my girlfriend and we had the greatest time! The food, drinks and service were above and beyond! I have never had a Margarita so delicious and interesting as the two we we had, and the steak tacos had us raving. Could not recommend more!
We came in here on a Monday at around 3pm for a late lunch early dinner. Robert sat us down right away. We got carnitas and baja tacos. They were both amazing, but the carnitas tacos were the best we ever had. After chatting with Robert, he gave us some sauces to try, best sauces we ever had. The intense but intimidating flavours were incredible. Cannot recommend this place enough. MUST TRY!!!
