I came in to open a basic business account for my styling business and received the most professional and swift customer service. Yolanda Reyes was the banking representative who helped and she provided so much helpful information and made opening up my account a breeze. She deserves a raise and promotion. Beautiful woman and soul. She understands what excellent customer service is.
Stay away. I’ve never experienced such basic lack of competence, organization and respect. I’ve now tried twice to open a business bank account at this branch… and today was repeatedly blamed for their technical issues and even yelled at publicly. To think, I am trying to GIVE you money and become a customer; this conduct is not how business is done. What a waste of two days. The only saving grace is that through lack of vetting and training employees, I have seen what the customer experience with Capital One would entail. I’m grateful you do not have my money and looking forward to partnering with a bank that operates with basic respect for its customers.
Everyone in this room is completely unprofessional and knows nothing. Every time I choose to visit this branch, there is a problem, and they are unable to explain why? They were quickly corrected by another branch. Avoid coming here; it will be a waste of time.
Seamless, great experience opening a business bank account at this location. I made an appointment online for the next day. Immediately texted and emailed appt confirmation. Got a confirmation call the morning of. Went in, Alberto walked me through the whole process, which took a little over an hour.
I've tried spending 4+ hours now getting a business checking account open with Capital One across two branches. Yesterday after 90 minutes it could not be completed due to some technical issue. I went in again today, to this branch, after calling ahead of time, and immediately got a lot of of attitude that they usually require appointments which I specifically called about, that they can't get any info from the other branch which I was told they would be able to retrieve, and that I need more documents even though I was already told that my documents were in order and it was an internal IT issue they had that prevented opening the account. What I got was the opposite of a can do attitude up front and, surprise, they found some excuse to tell me to go back to the other branch. Well not to worry, I won't be bothering them anymore with my business.
Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in a banks. Had a terrible service from representative Veronica Torres she told that does not have business card after 3 years working for bank! that I don't believe. Got a high blood pressure after her "service". This is just only one of Capital One's branch of this offices area. people come to get bank's service in their lunch time between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm. Unfortunately in this time no any bank representatives, empty all 4 tables and only 3 cashiers that work very hard. Always a big line there.
CapitalOne would not let me use the credit card but continued to charge me. They wanted me to submit documents to them for proof of identity, which I did. I submitted a valid driver's license, my birth certificate, a utility bill, a W2, a copy of my passport and it still was not enough. After 3 months of their team being incapable of resolving the issue, I had enough. It's not worth it when I've had such great service from other credit card companies such as American Express. I really wish CapitalOne valued their customers enough to let them use the credit card they paid for. I had identity verification issues with other credit card companies, but no team has been as ruthlessly incompetent in resolving the issue as has CapitalOne. I had to cancel my credit card to avoid any additional fees that they kept adding on. I welcome the demise of companies such as CapitalOne that treat their customers as a mere number, rather than a human being.
You've closed all of the branches on Staten Island forcing me to use the banks in Manhattan. I walked all the way over to this branch in the rain only for the ATM to be out of service. I'm fed up with you capital one and I'll be switching banks for your poor regard of the Staten Island customers!!!!!
I wish there was -negative5 * star. The worst customer service. No one even asked me what i need . Manager walked out helped her coworker and walked back to her office . There were only 2 me and one ladycustomers. That's why I'm banking only with chase and Bank of America, where they assist you immediately and 100000% satisfaction every time. I waited for 15 min . Walked out , no one even bother to ask if I was helped!!! They get paid for doing nothing. For sure I will never go back !!!! Even though I get mails to open an account with Capital One. It reminded of that very popular advertising on TV with very famous actors . One of them about the cash back , another about buying tickets depending on miles . Capital one pays a tons of money to recruit themselves on TV . Better spend that money on your employees, training and learn what means Customer service!!! then u won't need to waste much on advertising.
The manager is super nice lines are short great location!
