Capitol Lakes

This is a wonderful retirement facility, where my mother resides. It includes senior housing, assisted living and a nursing home, all on site. The apartments are beautiful, and includes full kitchens, wood flooring, central heating and a/c, dishwasher and disposal, in unit washer and dryer and some units with a gas fireplace. There are 3 separate dining facilities, a hair salon, a fully equipped gym with 2 pools and a hot tub and entertainment provided almost every night. Best of all, it is about 2 bocks off the square. Don't miss this.

Stayed here for rehab and it was wonderful and would and recommed it. I went there by a friend telling me that she stayed there and loved it

There are many reasons why I am familiar with nursing homes / rehab centers in the Madison area including my wife's career was as a nurse and administrator of nursing homes; I have a sibling who is a patient in skilled nursing; and recently I was a rehab patient in two area centers. Capitol Lakes Skilled Nursing Care and Rehabilitation is exemplary model for nursing care, rehabilitation and food service. Regardless of their position, each nursing staff member truly cares for the patients - as though they were family - and staff treats all patients with respect; and is there when needed. The physical therapists are very knowledgeable; they are sensible and friendly motivators, that is, they know when to push the patients and when to ease up; and they, too, treat you with dignity and respect. The meals are exceptionally good, that is, flavorful, well prepared, and delivered hot. The patient is offered a variety of choices for each meal and you cannot go wrong. And you will not go wrong if you choose Capital Lakes skilled nursing or rehabilitation.
