Captain Parker's Pub

Good Cape Cod Seafood Restaurant. Located 5 minutes from our hotel. We were seated right away. The decor is very basic, service we good. Very nice place for lunch and dinner.

$5 Burgers for lunch on Wednesday, hump day in the off-season. They now have a gluten free roll, too, for just 50¢ more. $5 Deli day Thursdays...best deal around...great food, nice view of the river, too...with a nice gas stove to keep you warm.

Only giving one star.... nice restaurant good atmosphere... But the last two times my husband and I have been there food VERY COLD and it wasn't even busy and I got sick right away the last time.... Go ahead if you want.... Good Luck.

It hurts to say this, but my days of going to this restaurant are over. I had been eating here since I was a kid, about thirty years, NO MORE! Although the quality of the food (and chowder) is still phenomenal, I do not like to eat family style with strangers. The tables in the dining room are about two inches apart (I'm not exaggerating). Service and staff are still great, but the food is not worth censoring a conversation when there are small children practically on your lap. Very disappointing experience!

I am a bit of a Clam Chowder snob .. have had it 6 times in 4 days. This place, by far, has the best chowder. So, if for no other reason, that's good enough to recommend Captain Parkers. Other than that, the food was good .. the service was friendly ... the atmosphere was relaxed and appropriate for the Cape.
