Caribou Coffee

Caribou Coffee is my favorite coffee chain. They have a fun Northwoods theme for their interior maybe I’m biased being part Minnesotan, and their coffee always tastes fresh and expertly prepared. This location is the first Caribou to open at MSP each day, and it is also the most apt to receive arriving and departing traffic at this airport. It was open at 5:00 AM so I was able to get coffee for my 6:00 flight. The line became long out the door quite quickly, so leave plenty of time if you are interested. The app wasn’t taking orders, so that wasn’t an option - but it also wasn’t slowing down the delivery of drinks. The barista did a great job with my Caramel Highrise, it was exactly what I needed after waking up at 2 AM!

I was waiting for my drink at this location. I stood over to the side see picture 2 where the yellow caution sign is. A worker prepared my drink and was putting it down on the area where you pick it up. She did it extremely fast causing the drink to tip over and splash all over my clothes, skin and brand new white shoes. No apologies were given... all she said was "oops." Great way to start my weekend of travel.

They have me super sweet milk. 0 coffee. Asked for it to be fixed and they hit me with, its closed now. Do not waste your money and get real coffee someone else. Any coffee that I've ever had is better than this sweet milk that they're selling

Amazing customer service this morning for this team. It's not even 5:00 and these ladies are happy and serving customers with pride and a smile. Glad I took the extra steps to go to Caribou and not Starbucks.

Go here all the time as it was the most dependable Caribou in the airport but the new staff is just plain bad. They were going to put less shots in my iced americano then is standard and when I said something they added a shot that had been sitting there for a while. I asked for my drink to be remade as is didn’t have a good flavor due to the shot that’s flavor spoiled as it sat for too long. When I respectfully asked them to remake it as the flavor was off then just said no and that was that! Love Caribou but I will be avoiding this one if I see the small long haired blond guy working!

Order at least 10 mins in advance when using points online & maybe they'll get to your single order of coffee!! Might as well stood line of 25 people-would have been quicker! Waste of time going online.

Saturday morning, 645-705. Took 20 minutes to get from end of line to receipt of my plain coffee and a simple bfast biscuit. There were about 15 people ahead of me. Maybe 1/minute is good. Coffee was eh, biscuit was great. Saw 5 people leave the line while I was in it. One cashier, one cook. That's not enough. Maybe short staffed, but you're losing business.

I planned on returning before they closed at 8pm. Stopped by about an hour before I intended to get my drinks to confirm the 8pm closing time, even telling them I would be back closer to my flight’s departure before they closed. I come back at 7:30p and they are already closed. Apparently, someone was amazingly healthy enough to work and serve people’s drinks for all but the last half hour plus of their shift before succumbing to an illness so great and swift hitting that it warranted shutting down the whole operation for the remainder of the day.

Literally like weak brown water with a splash of milk. Please Caribou, taste the latte of any other coffee house and know that yours is at the bottom of the pile. Where is the froth?
