Carol McClees is one of the best artists you will ever meet. She has done a multitude of commissioned paintings for my family and each one is a masterpiece. If you are considering having a pet portrait done, you absolutely must contact Carol. She brings your pet to life even if your pet is deceased and you want a painting as a memorial tribute or as a gift. She captures the soul, heart and spirit of an animal in a way I have never seen done by anyone else. Not only is she immensely talented but Carol meets deadlines and obligations on time and, most often, ahead of time. She is a great person to work with and, unlike some artists, she paints for you, not for herself. She is extremely open to suggestions as well. Carol's work is absolutely breathtaking. I especially enjoy her true-to-life portraits of people and animals. We have a 2-year-old pup maltese, shih tzu and poodle mix named Oskar and a 1-year old baby girl named Indie well I guess she's technically a toddler now, but I digress... I've been looking for someone to do a painting of both of them. The white walls in our house definitely need some color and I think original art is a great way to liven up the space. Came across Carol's site and love her work, so I contacted her to find out more. She and her husband are very nice people and I can tell she will be pleasant to work with. Now we just have to decide whether we want to commission a painting of our dog or our baby... hmm... :
