Appointments don’t really matter, they say it’s just a reservation. This means you’ll wait an eternity to see the dr. I’d rather sleep in my car when I’m ill than sit there and wait 45 plus min in a room. Nurses are great but they need more doctors. Also, they need to clean their vents - it’s gross!
Had a great experience here when I took my daughter to get a cyst looked at. The doctor was super professional and helped us immensely. After our visit they even provided us with a pamphlet that went over everything wanted to know, and did t want to know lol, about cysts. It was nice to get some scientific/medical info that we could take home and read to learn how to avoid this in the future. We went back for a check up a few days later, saw the same doctor and had an excellent visit again. Great place and highly recommend!
Our experience at the Arboretum Urgent care was quite good. The wait was a bit longer than the time indicated on the website, but otherwise, all went well. The staff was friendly and patient with my children - especially the nurse, who had to try multiple times to get a throat sample from my daughter, due to some anxiety fueled hesitation and resistance. She’s had some unpleasant experiences. Doctor Carlos Bolden was excellent. He was kind, attentive and respectful. He was able to gently disagree with “my diagnosis” of my daughter’s condition, explaining his reasons and still listening to mine. In the end he was correct and I was mistaken, but I still left feeling heard and valued - a rare combination. I would definitely recommend this location to others, and plan to return whenever needed.
Great service! We were attended by Barbie first at the front desk and then Cynthia. My girlfriend was throwing up and feel very nauseous. I explained to Barbie the situation where we were previously at a urgent care but the medicine they gave my gf was not good enough. My gf has had something like this happen to her before so she was hoping she could get a shot for her nausea since she could not even stomach a pill. Cynthia who I think may have been the doctor or PA pulled us aside shortly after explaining that they don’t have the shot we needed and recommended we go to the ER. Barbie was so kind to print out directions to which ER they recommended that wouldn’t be packed with people. I am not that type of person to make many reviews but I truly appreciated the concern over my gfs health!! We were able to go quickly to the ER and get what we needed :. Thank you very much!
I just remembered my experience here from about 7 years ago... I understand it's late to share but the fact that I could remember it still hurts I came in for a possible dislocated/broken pinky and had to get x-rays. The lady who took them asked if I was pregnant... I WAS 10! I get that she's supposed to ask for the x-ray but the way she looked at me and said it, then asked "are you sure?" LIKE I WAS LYING was very, VERY rude.
Went there because of my daughter’s injury that needed attention during the weekend. Everyone we encountered at Atrium Urgent Care Arboretum was pleasant and lovely. They made it a great experience going to the doctor, which is rare. From the receptionist, nurse, doctor, and X-ray technician, everyone was friendly, helpful, patient, and put my daughter at ease on our visit. Thank you!
Why have the feature to reserve a spot online if they’re still going to make you wait more than 2 hours once you arrive?! Even the confirmation email says “enjoy skipping the wait”. I arrive at 12:40pm, it’s 2:45pm and no doctor has seen me. Please update your system or at least tell the patients once you arrive you might to wait another 2 hours. NEVER AGAIN. All my providers are from Novant but since this was the closest urgent care from work I decided to give them a try- this is why I don’t use Atrium facilities.
Developed an unexpected infection in my leg, which the Urgent Care weekend team diagnosed and treated with care and professionalism. I am very happy I went to the Urgent Care immediately instead of waiting to see my PCP.
I have been here twice. This is not an urgent care. There is no sense of urgency at all. I am pretty sure I have a fracture and told them this. I was told I need to make an appointment. Basically if you plan on fracturing a bone make an appointment a day earlier because they triage people according to when your appointment is. I mean appointments are what a doctors office is for. This place feels more like Great Clips.
I am apprehensive to take my 2yo to a clinic that does not specialize in pediatrics but we came here anyways because we were able to "save our spot" at a great time. They were WONDERFUL with her. The front desk employee could tell my daughter was very nervous about being there and came out around the desk to offer her a couple stickers. The nurse that took us back was so great with her, talked to her in a very friendly way and then the PA had an energy that was perfect for a 2yo. He was very friendly and was great about explaining what he was doing to her and asking her questions and just making her feel comfortable. Although this is not a Peds clinic, it was perfect for my 2yo.
