Novant Health Primary Care Foxcroft

I am very disappointed that my son,who took a day off of work due to a sinus infection was told to leave. Assuming he had covid! This is a health care facility! And they do not have the right to dismiss someone over assumptions! No test were performed, no questions were asked, and he still hasn’t gotten the care that he should have. I am also in health care and his test was negative- just like the service he received! I do not recommend this practice at all if you need care.

All the staff, including my Provider were professional, engaging and compassionate. My Provider Angela Davis took time to listen to my concerns and was very reassuring. She explained how the tests being done were geared to my specific needs and how we planned on moving forward to address those needs. It was a wonderful experience and all my stresses were alleviated. Thank you!

I am always treated with respect and genuine friendliness every time that I go here. They are patient with me, to work around my schedule. Dr Ford is my primary care physician, and she always treats me as if I am her only patient for the day. she takes her time and listens to everything that I tell her or am asking her. I am extremely happy with Novant Foxcroft.

Had my first appointment with Dr. Mary Nicole Hood for my annual physical. She was very welcoming and thorough throughout the exam. I am grateful I was set up with this provider. Also, the front desk personnel was very welcoming. I will return!

This review is based on my experience with Dr. Ford over the past 6 years that I have been seeing her. Dr. Ford is very kind and has wonderful bed side manner. She is empathetic and makes you feel like you can really open up. However, I did not receive the appropriate care over the years that I was being treated by Dr. Ford. She unknowingly participated in medical gaslighting and offered a medical opinion that was against the symptoms I had told her I was experiencing. I had been given many failed referrals which could have been addressed by a PCP. After 6 years, I finally sought out a new PCP with Atrium who listened to what I was going through and was able to treat me. I know Dr. Ford would be happy to know I am seeing progress with the new treatment plan as she does really care about her patients. She just was not the right fit for my needs. My advice would be to explore more up-to-date education in mental health and women's health. While I know Dr. Ford is not a mental health specialist nor an OB/GYN, staying knowledgeable in these fields can help deliver great baseline care to future and existing patients with these issues. I learned that Novant Health has a lot to approve upon with their Mental Health services which is not exactly Dr. Ford's fault. There must be a shortage of those specialists within Novant because I had to wait 10 months for my referral whereas Atrium had a much quicker turn around time. I ultimately had to switch to Atrium Health to gain access to the resources I needed to better my health.

Worst customer service ever. I been in pain with my back and NP Nicole Sinno Assistant said I'm telling you now...shes not going to give any meds for pain. I explained I have pain meds from ER last week and I want to follow up and address my pain to make sure it's not Cancet, tumor air cyst. So they dismissed me because I won't let th Bully me ! I will be contacting State and my Social Worker also documented the call !

Novant Health Care at Foxcroft has the best of Doctor Physicians if you looking for someone to help with your medical needs. Dr Lisa Ford is one of the best.

NP Sinno does not listen nor respect her patients. She loves making appointments for referrals but will belittle, mock, and make it known that she doesn't want to write the referral through her redirecting statements. She doesn't deserve to practice medicine. Patients due because of people like her.

Two months out from a kidney donation and they have canceled my appointment twice. Initially through it was strep, I was test for that and COVID at urgent care. I am now coughing so much it’s aggravating the surgery area. Will not be returning to this location

I have been using Dr. Ford for several years now I am quite pleased with her. My only concern would be how quickly I could get an appointment. I try and plan ahead.
