Pretty much always end up with the nice, older gentleman, helping me out, when I purchase a gun. Everything is well organized. Would've given 5 stars BUT this place doesn't make good offers when you want to sell your gun. Other than that, great place to purchase any firearm, ammo.
If you’re looking for friendly customer service, you will not find it here. I went to Carters with my dad yesterday to help him find a holster for his gun and see about get some repair work on a gun. We walked around the store like four times, and no one asked if we needed any help. The store was pretty much empty. There was a lady sitting at a desk behind the counter, one gentleman on the phone quite often and two employees towards the back refilling shelves. Not one person looked our way or maybe they didn’t want to help us. I guess we didn’t look like we had any money to shop. Great thing about our country is that we can take our money somewhere else. We found what we needed at Collectibles, and I bought a S&W EZ 380 there.
Greg helped me get set up for my first hunt by boresighting my rifle and suggesting the proper ammo, as well as going beyond to give practical hunting advice. I like coming here.
Rudest employees you will ever find. Went there today to hopefully buy a pistol I wanted. Store was empty and I’m the only guy at the pistol counter. Multiple employees standing around. Finally waved down a clerk who acted like I was bothering him. Don’t worry Carters. I’ll take my business elsewhere.
I went to this store about 2 weeks ago to sell my gun. I was told at another gun shop that they had too much inventory and to go to Carters the buy anything because of how big they are and how the compete with major sporting goods store. I brought my gun in and the guy behind the counter said how much are you looking for and then said let me see your gun and brought it to the back for about 10 mins. After the 10 mins he came back and said we are not interested and if we were it would only this much. I told him I would take that and then said like I said we are not interested because we have too much n in stock. And then said we can't help you and then left the conversation without evening help me find a different place to shop. He had that attitude that he didn't even want to. Work or help out someone. thankfullyi. Found A place that helped me out because I was having surgery coming up that I needed to pay for..
I went gun shopping Friday... and I ended up going to one of my favorite places Carter's Country.. The staff was very friendly and helpful.... I ended up liking the new SDS 1911... what a beautiful gun can't wait to hit the range... well until next time signing off Two Peas..
Was helped immediately this Saturday afternoon by Bill, the manager. Place was somewhat busy. All the staff were very nice and helpful. Good selection of equipment, ammo, and firearms. Very clean inside and well lit. Best selection of safes I've seen around. I came in looking for a hard to find item, which they had. I had been around to several stores in the area and absolutely no one else had this in stock. Carter's did though. Price wise, they are comparable to many other places around town. I got what I needed and didn't overpay. It had been some time since I was last in here, but I will be back. The professionalism and kindness of the staff, selection and prices, really made a good impression on me. Thank you to Bill and everyone that helped me today.
As usual a good experience . Very nice employees. Learned a couple things today . Got ammo it's actually cheaper then academy and was available came for the concealed carry fanny pack . Still outta stock.
Bought a pistol from Greg. He was very helpful. I will return to buy from him again!
Just your typical gun shop. Great selection of firearms. Very cowboy themed store, rustic and true to the west. Old salesman’s behind the counter was very mixed when we asked if any 38 special was in stock. He friendly told us they were all out but reassured us that shipments come in a certain date and was just a friendly guy overall. As much as this particular shop is friendly and nice, the vibe from the spring location is a lot better in my personal opinion.
