I have lived in Casa Tierra for five years since 2018. I have dealt with four different managements. I would say without hesitation that the current management that started in June 2022 is the best. The management team is led by Jessica, the manager, who is professional, honest and meticulous. My maintenance requests are usually completed next day, unless there is a missing spare part which they would promptly order it. The apartment complex is now an excellent place to live in. It is secure with friendly residents and professional management.
If I could rate them 0 stars I would, me and my friends have lived here since November and everything was fine until may when our A/C was supposed to be turned on, it never was turned on, we’ve been living in a 80-100 degree town house since then and no one has come over to fix it and when we try to file a maintenance form nothing ever happens. Our ac unit also has lots of exposed copper wiring which is a safety hazard. Me and my roommates literally sleep in the living room on the couches or an air mattress with 8 fans running. Paying almost 2 grand a month for a town house where we can’t even sleep in our own beds. Management and maintenance won’t do anything for you here your best bet is find somewhere else.
The most irresponsible and obnoxious manager that I had ever dealt with my entire life! Our backyard’s door was rusty and easily knocked down by wind two months ago, still broken! And a huge safety hazard but they haven’t fixed it yet, not that we haven’t called and report and filled a Maintanance form we did ten times every time they said they’ll do it soon and yet nothing! Our Ac pipes broke, over 6 months ago and leaking and someday it floods the floor their response is doing literally nothing! The manager herself she also behaves in a way to show you she doesn’t care, and now I’m going to report them to city! For god’s sake we have contracts and they have responsibilities! So far none of our maintenance requests has been done other than one time gas leak! And we’re living here for 2 years but we are moving out asap They are horrible people and don’t do anything, I don’t get why we should pay them as much as a penny!
I have a friend that lives there and she had a lot of stuff wrong with your apartment and she didn't have an air conditioner when she moved in the middle of the summer and she constantly called the office to have them come fix but they didn't come fix until she finally served them with attorney papers saying that they're going to be food and they fixed it right away the next day so
My friend lived here and was miserable for a whole year: - there are pests - mostly roaches, but also ants. They've sprayed times, but they are somehow even in her refrigerator. - the cabinet doors do not close - at all. Maintenance didn't put back the magnets when they painted. They stay swung out about 3 inches - all the time - you can hear EVERY step the people upstairs take, and about half their conversations. - the pipes are so loud, when someone upstairs flushes, it sounds like there's a gush in the wall - It took 6 weeks to get a mailbox key - her vehicle was towed despite having sticker for the property parking lot, because she accidentally parked it one spot over in another neighbor's slot was that really the only/best way to handle it on either the neighbor's or property's part?! - the manager, Letisha, is the rudest person I've ever encountered and as professional in property management, I can definitively say, she is terrible at her job.
I would like to show my appreciation to the apartments manager through google reviews…she handle situations professionally. I am not a resident of the Casa Tierra but I did encounter a problem and she was able to take care of it with no hassle…so she well deserved the 5 star…oh and also her maintenance guy is very friendly and helpful as well…
My husband & I lived at Casa Tierra from December 2013 through March 2014. This was an out of state move. While my husband toured the community the previous fall, we did not see our place until we arrived, after we'd signed a lease via mail & e-mail. The apartment was spacious, with lots of light. The carpet was nice & clean, and we loved the wood-look vinyl floors in kitchen, baths & hallway. While kitchen and baths were old, there were brand new kitchen appliances. The laundry facilities are great - plenty of large machines means you can get it all done at once. Parking was easy. The grounds are beautiful. There are lots of good stores within walking distance, including a Sprouts. Front office staff and maintenance first-rate.
Is management going to compensate us for everything the roofers are damaging?? Thank you for the notice we got today letting us know about the roofers that woke us up this morning. They’ve been here for over a week but thanks for sending the notice out today! I have mold, dust, dirt, grime, who knows what else coming from the inside of our roof. It’s all over our bathrooms, it ruined our bath rugs, it ruined the pajamas I had in the bathroom, they broke both vents even though they barely worked before and management refuses to fix them. Our utilities have tripled since the “new management” took over. When we question it, they tell us it’s because the utilities are being billed for longer periods. It doesn’t make any sense. The new management is horrible. I’m pretty sure everything we’re breathing in from the roofers isn’t good for us and our kids.
I absolutely love everything about Case Tierra. The apartments are lovely. The location is super convenient. Latisha, the new manager, is AWESOME. She has a knack for selecting the BEST residents and is always courteous and professional. Latisha has made a GOOD apartment community into a GREAT apartment community. I highly recommend Casa Tierra to anyone looking for a peaceful, well run place to call home!
Management changed three times in two years and the changes did not improve the quality of service. Staff was very misleading about amenities and prices. Read the lease very carefully. Washer and dryers are bad and make clothes smell. Don’t expect to get any maintenance requests fulfilled in a timely fashion, even simple ones. Pool was frequently closed. Frequent checks on the apartment without 48 hour notification. On the outside things look nice, but I don’t recommend living here.
