Came here to study with a friend. Ordered an iced bourbon caramel latte and it was delicious. Outlets were available at most spots and there was a large table in the middle. There was music playing in the background but it wasn’t too loud. The service was very good and I liked all the natural lighting and plants. We sat there for a few hours and it wasn’t super busy. Always on the hunt for good places to study and I will definitely will be coming back here!
The coffee here is to die for. Among just a general quality of the beans, the additional flavor add-ons and milk options create an espresso beverage like no other. Whenever I am in Portland it is my go to coffee spot as it serves up good energy, friendly employees, delicious coffee, and some fresh pastries as well. Go here!
A charming coffee shop with great coffee and friendly service. The shop has a cozy and relaxed vibe, wild house plants not impeccably shaped cacti on racks, wooden counter and tables, beautiful espresso machine with a vintage look, and warm sun lights casting soft shadows on the wall. There is something nostalgic about it that I couldn't really explain. It feels great to grab a coffee and sit outside, taking in a moment of tranquility.
Just left the restaurant. Best sausage biscuit I’ve ever had. Amazing. The only negative is that the sausage biscuit was huge so I decided I needed to eat it with a fork . We left and there was a huge line formed outside. Five stars .
Damn that was a good espresso. Can’t remember the last time I drank one so slowly. They’re rocking some kind of beautiful vintage machine. If I wasn’t in a rush I would’ve sat and relaxed in the nice shop.
Case Study is one of my favorite coffee shops in Portland. I really like how they always include a shot of selzer water along side the espresso. It really improves the entire experience. When you are there, look at their espresso machine. It looks space aged somehow. The coffee is fresh and the baristas really know what they are doing.
I usually go to the NE Alberta St location, but this one is just as charming. No prob getting an excellent Kalita even around 5 pm - thanks for not eliminating it, like lots of others along the West Coast! As usual, both natural & washed beans avaialable. Patisserie display is lovely!
Nice and quaint, comfortable atmosphere, clean M&W restroom. Latte was yummy, golden milk was very good but my coffee was on the bitter side.
Super bomb coffee, I loved my pastry poppy seed something I forgot the exact name but it was delish!!!! The person who attended me was really good at directing me to the perfect cup, and had a great attitude. If that wasn’t enough, there is a super cool comic book store next door ! Thanks again guys! I’ll be back ! Follow me for my foodie adventures on Insta: @alexxnwogu
Love the coffee, always grab some when I’m in Portland. It’s unfortunate they don’t pack beans in a kilo or 5lb bag. The roasts here are consistently the same, that’s a good thing and shows the quality of the roaster. 6 stars for bigger bags!
