Not sure if I am an anomaly, but my experience has been completely opposite of most reviews. I read the great reviews. Called and Mr. Castro was very kind and said he had a few openings that same day. I chose the last available, to fit my schedule, of 4:45pm. I arrived at 4:30 and the entire shop was closed????? I gave my name and phone number, yet was not contacted. I called the shop number I case possibly they were in the back or stepped out for a moment. No answer to my call. I headed over to the new shop on foothill, Vivos and got a great cut. No wait, super nice. Finally found my go to place.

My husband took our 3 year old there yesterday the 28th. And the person who cut his hair did a terrible job. It’s so uneven you can see layers on the back when it’s supposed to be an even buzz style. And the top is just not even at all he looks ridiculous. There are chunks missing. I can understand it being difficult with young kids but my child didn’t move at all he knows to no move with scissors near his face. I’m very upset over this as his birthday is coming up and his hair is just such a mess. The only solutions would be to shave it all or let it grow and go to an better place who know how to cut hairService: Haircut

Mr. Castro very professional. Great service and wonderful atmosphere. My 11 year old hate haircuts but Mr. Castro is great with him. He listens to my son and cuts his hair to what he likes, not what me or my husband wants. Of course he won't do something completely outrageous. He meets us in the middle to satisfy everyone.

Castro knows what He's doing and he listens to your suggestions. He's a great guy and great atmosphere in his shop.

I’ve known Castro ever since I was a little boy. My parents have always taken me here, and they still do. Castro is one of the nicest people there is, but it is hard to stay still in the seat because the man is funny! Definitely would recommend for anyone looking to get a fresh cut.

Very friendly staff and reasonable pricing. I have been going to Castro for several years and my son also frequents is establishment for haircuts and so on. A good Christian man with a good friendly knowledgeable experienced staff period a good family Barber for young and old alike with reasonable pricing and a very family atmosphere.

Castro is awesome and has very affordable and competitive pricing. A lot of people in the area probably grew up with Castro cutting their hair before he opened his own place.
