Love Catbird so much! This new location is spacious and adorable, with tons of jewelry to see. Got zapped on this visit and it was a great experience!
Second time I went back to get zapped! The staff were so kind and helped me pick out the perfect ring as a treat myself gift. Everyone that works here is so friendly and kind! I love my bracelets and will definitely be back!
I really enjoyed my first shopping experience with Catbird. I just bought the Baby Cygnet Ring seen on the right in this picture and I couldn't be happier with the craftsmanship. Yes, the ring was pricey for something so small, but the price of gold is very high right now and the detail on the ring makes it worth it. It reminds me of a ring that I have from the mid-Georgian period, except I'm not afraid to wear this one! The ring was also packaged so nicely and the box included some welcome swag which is so pretty that I'll actually use it!. Thanks, Catbird!
I ordered the secret garden ring and I was very disappointed. For $800, it look like a disorganized piece of gold metal. After many attempts of calling and emailing Catbird , they don’t want to refund me the money. I have been a loyal customer for years and it’s all gone down the drain. I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy. Dainty expensive pieces of jewelry that break. Two rings in the past that have broken, that should have been a sign to stop buying from them! I do not know why I proceeded to order with them again and the custom floral garden ring. Don’t shop here. They are such a letdown and they have horrible customer service.
1st Impression Review - I purchased the Diamond Fizz Sparkler rings in two sizes. At first, to the naked eye they are a lot smaller/thinner than I expected. I was afraid my finger was going to be too thick for them and wash them out. Standalone, they are BEAUTIFULLLLL rings!! HOWEVER, when I looked at my hand in the mirror with the rings on, my perspective changed: I LOVE THEM!!! The diamonds really sparkle especially when the light hits them. The beautiful gold complements my dark skin tone. It’s not gaudy, but it draws the right attention to your hand. I’m hooked, you hear me?! I’m at the point where I want to buy more of their stacking rings like people get tattoos lol! This is a first impression, I’m a little nervous about the fact they are delicate but I have no problem with removing them when I’m doing heavy handed activities. End of day, they should be treasured like the precious jewels they are. I am very satisfied with my purchase!
I have only ordered rings online from Catbird and I’m always pleased with the jewelry I receive and the cute packaging. Shipping was fast too. Love what they have to offer and will continue to shop online from them.
Last week, a prong of my beloved Catbird rings snapped off dropping a stone and I was DEVASTATED. I went in to the shop today to see if I could pay to get the ring repaired or replaced. The woman that helped me was so sweet and without hesitation swapped out my broken ring for a brand new one. She truly went above and beyond and was so kind. She even gave me some care tips and showed me how my ring has newly reinforced prongs. I’ve been a long-time customer and will continue to come back for the beautiful pieces and top notch CX!
I got one of the forever bracelets and it fell off within 2 days! I wasn’t wearing any other bracelets with it. It was very beautiful, but not sturdy enough to stay on. A couple hundred dollars down the drain. The warranty only covers it if you still have the bracelet, but in my case I lost the bracelet on the street. They offered a 15% discount to get another one, but I don’t think it’s worth it, especially if the one I had only lasted for 2 days.
I *really* want to like Catbird, really. It's so cute, it's a local biz and they have lots of jewelry that I like. And so I have tried recently, on 3 separate occasions, to go in there and purchase a diamond ring. The first time I was just browsing but then once I narrowed down my 2/3 choices all I needed was an associate to help me complete the purchase. Therein lies the issue. There are so many people working yet nobody makes eye contact with you even when you make it painstakingly obvious that you need their help; they just busy themselves with other things or linger on an existing customer and then disappear altogether when there are clearly people waiting to be helped. It's just a really lackluster customer service experience to justify dropping thousands of dollars. So I've officially given up. Still, I mourn the loss of what could be a great local spot. I write this review not to knock you Catbird, but simply to ask for you to do better.
I'm not pleased with the service and quality of this company. They recently came to LA to do a pop-up to weld bracelets onto people. I've always wanted to get this done by them because I moved to LA from Brooklyn and remember them when they first started in Brooklyn and always loved their jewelry. That was in June and now in November I woke up one morning, had the bracelet on and 24 hours later it was gone with no incident occurring. The welded bracelet just fell off. I feel like I wasted $150 on this thing that was called a "forever bracelet". I reached out to them and they said I could buy a new one at half off and I didn't really think that that was acceptable. This bracelet should have stayed on the whole time, if there was no crazy incident that occurred it shouldn't fall off.
