The job developer and some of the Manager is not going to respond and they do not care about you and your text Messages if you are not self sufition they will promis and they do not care the policy for every refugee is diffrent if they come befor or after you that does not matther,you have to be strict with them to respect you..

Many years ago Sister Theresa McIntyre of Catholic Social Services helped me immensely when I was trying to cope with my Mom’s untimely death. Without Sister Theresa, I don’t think I’d be here today. She was an excellent grief counselor and she’s very compassionate and good at helping others in coping with their grief. I have only good things to say about Catholic Social Services and Sister Theresa.

The worst, was lied to repeatedly by them and was told Birth certificate was in the mail. They never ordered it. So I called records in NY and was told the truth! Said it was held up by covid-19. Another lie!! Needed to get home when I lost my ID.

I will be forever grateful to the kind loving people at Catholic Charities who helped me several years ago when things were very difficult financially. Two kind ladies came to my home and met with me to discuss my challenges at the time and the assistance they provided on behalf of Catholic Charities was enough to help me move forward and to take some pressure off me until I could get back on my feet financially. It was not much but it was a mountain of help to me and I will be forever grateful and will give back when I can.

This charity is wonderful place and people are so amazing and friendly. I am so thankful for them.

This place took over the apartments I live in this past April. The beginning of July a tenant reported bed bugs. These are small studio apartments in a small office type building. No one was notified of this and it spread to the apartments next to that one. Fast forward to over a month later and the bed bugs are still in the building. They are spot treating and they are still spreading. Tired of poor excuses, tired of people trying to not spend money, tired of sleeping with every light on so I can see what's coming. Management is inexperienced and has 100 excuses. Why buy a building housing female veterans and treat us as if we are not human. Should I drop some of those things by their office building. Being Catholic and volunteering with my home church I can say this is disappointing and NOT the behavior of a Christian.

As I was looking for Danielle & help myself, I was inspired by receptionist Shelia Arnold on 7th Ave. Catholic Charities today Mon 6/11/16 & her comments like if U R going to worry why pray & if U R going to pray why worry. I met Danielle a Mngmnt person in Walgreens Bethaney Hm Rd Sun 6/10/16 & it is amazing how the Lord Jesus & God our Heavenly Father put us all together at the right place & in the right time. We ALL NEED encouragement & SPIRITUAL connection. Guelda Gamble

I have donated hand made items here mostly to mana house and the staff is always friendly and very helpful.

They moved to a new building that it's incredible. Great staff. I recommend it.
