Honestly, food was average & price was excessive. Waited about 10 min to get seated when they weren't busy. Service once served was pretty good. Bread came out on a paper plate that you get a hotdog in. Pasta was good but portion was small for $28. Music was honestly awful & a change in the playlist would make it a completely different experience. Wine was very good though!
From its limited choices, the pizza was more a flat bread. The only tastes were flour dough and very little salty from cheese. The bread served prior to meal looked like right from grocery store shelf. This has been a totally different restaurant vs pre covid.
Nice place but really expensive and not enjoyable food. Came for the gluten free options and I’m more than dissatisfied. Pizza it’s hard and undercooked, has a little bit of chesse and toppings. Cheap and acceptable wine but not 5$ as they said. Lasagna it’s nice taste and really saucy. Good taste but small for the price and not meet expectations. Outside it’s loud with latin salsa music playing at cafe next door.
Went to this restaurant expecting fresh Italian for its price. We ordered Chicken Parmigiana and a pasta dish with seafood and the ingredients were obviously frozen. The chicken was a chicken patty and my seafood tasted frozen and wasn’t even hot when it was served to me. The decor is nice but the food is underwhelming.
Good for quick lunch with pasta, choice of few options served fast
Extremely small portion sizes. Almost a joke. We all left hungry after spending $200 for 4 people. We all drank only water. The lasagna was like 4 oz. Smaller than the palm of my 13 year old daughters hand. I would avoid this place!!!! Food was also bland and tasteless. Really the worst Italian restaurant I have ever been to.
Literally run. Go anywhere else but this place. We walked in on a Saturday night at 8 PM and we were one of two tables in the restaurants- probably should have been a sign. The entire restaurant smelled like dirty sewage water and metal. They put us at a table in the back and decided to try an appetizer and see if it’s promising. We got mozzarella sticks and bread. The bread was taken out of the freezer and thrown in the oven for a few minutes to toast but still was freezer burned. The mozzarella sticks were yellow? Like actually yellow. They were 100% from a bag and were still $11. We ordered entrees just to see what happened. A vodka pasta and a pepperoni flatbread. My boyfriend knew immediately it was canned sauce and boxed pasta. FOR 23 DOLLARS? Surely not. The pizza was inedible. It was slimey and greasy and everything was falling apart. We told them we would pay for the mozzarella sticks since we ate a few of them as I had not eaten since 9 AM, but that they can send the entrees back and that we were leaving. The server was actually very nice and attentive, and I’m sorry you’re working at a place like this. I know the owner was walking around, but he did not even have the decency to come over to the table to see what was wrong. Surely he wasn’t busy as the place was empty. We left and told the other couple to run and go somewhere else. Ended up eating some bar food somewhere else and was so much better. Save your time and money.
Baffled - bad food for high prices. We eat in Manhattan all the time and I rarely have as terrible of an experience as this. You walk in and it immediately smells like a bar with bad lighting. The pasta plates were poor. I needed to put salt and Parm on my penne a la vodka- the spaghetti and meatballs looked like it was reheated. Also the prices?? If they are charging $15-18 for pasta then I guess you get what you pay for. The pasta was $25-28. Heart burn afterwards from the tomato sauce… wine was bad… don’t go, choose another place.
The food here was very good. We had Fried Calamari, Chicken Parmesan, and Spaghetti with Tomato Sauce. The Fried Calamari wasn’t a huge portion but tasted great. The Chicken Parm had awesome flavors and wasn’t too rich. It came with Linguine which was very flavorful. The Parmesan cheese they gave us also was very good! There was a seat by the window which is perfect on a nice day. I would recommend this place for a meal in the city! Prices were pretty fair too for Italian food.
Short wait for the table. All tables were full. Service moves swiftly. This makes it unfortunate if you want to take your time but good if your going to a show. Make a reservation recommended. Food was good. Quick service doesn't make for time for great displays of food but it wasn't all good. Dessert has a good selection. Only room for one bathroom on each floor. There was frequently a line. Overall the night was enjoyable and I would definitely go again.
