I had my screen and back glass repaired by these guys, and I was happy with the repair. A year later it started glitching the glass wasn’t physically damaged front or back whether it was related to the parts or repair I can’t be sure. I took it to the Apple store to have the screen replaced when I came to pick it up they said the two screws by the charge port were stuck. So I decided to go back to these guys. I asked them too make sure they can take the screws out before I leave it with them so I don’t waste my time like at the Apple store. They refused to do this simple task.
If you have an issue that other places can't fix or a rare phone like I do, these guys are honestly the best for repairs here. They might be pricy but honestly got to give them chops for the work they do. Especially with the work they do tracking down the parts actually compatible with my phone.
Today, I have to move from five stars to one. As the store clerk tried overselling me on a repair that wasn't needed. The glass on a. S8+ had a slight crack and being the perfectionist I wanted it fixed. I was quoted $190, when I got to the store the clerk said $260 because the LCD screen also needed replacing. I decided against it and when I showed Geek squad they were able to replace the glass for $175. The phone works fine and no screen issues. So, now I have to make this place as Used Car Salesman fraudsters. Five Month ago: 5 Quick and affordable service with great customer service. I cracked my S8+ screen and these guys replaced it at a rate of 45% cheaper than other repair groups. They were courteous and did the work in the exact time I was quoted. When my daughter asked if she had a scratch or a crack, the dealer said it was a scratch and not to waste money on changing the screen. Now that is honesty.
Do they do their job? Yes, eventually. Phone had water damage and wasn't able to charge. They replaced the screen with a "new one" that had deep scratches within it.. Was told phone would be done at 4 or 5. Showed up at 1545 and was told that it was my fault I showed up since they didn't call me or email me even though the day prior I was told 4 or 5. Ended up heading back home.. Next day phone ended up being fixed minus the charge port or microphone working. Paid 330. Wife's phone needed to be only unlocked same time as mine. Was told to wait for the call, decided to listen this time and didn't get a call. After a day I texted and was told it was done. Would have been nice to have some decent communication. Also adhesive was coming off of the backplate on my phone still and wasn't fully fixed even after I showed up. I don't question their expertise only their customer service. I believe I paid 130 for hers so altogether 460.
Walked in knowing what I needed, charging port cleaning on my phone. Was told that I had to replace the whole charging port for basically the cost of a new phone. Asked repeatedly just for the cleaning, and was told no I needed the whole unit replaced 3 times, so I left. Went someplace else, got the part cleaned, and phone charges fine again. Sometimes just do what the customer wants, yeah?
