This is a nice peaceful park even though there's plenty of people there. The view around you is amazing and gives the park so much energy. The park is in walking distance to the world of coke, aquarium, college football hall of fame and so much more. The view at night when the lights come on is great! You just feel Atlanta in this park. Great place for a picnic and to come throw the football with your kids. I'll definitely be going back to write some poetry, read, and even just to chill in a peaceful place. It's dog friendly for all dog owners. Depending on where you park you may have to walk a little to get in the park. Most parking areas are $20 and up to park with no time limit but no overnight parking.
This is such a relaxing fun environment in the middle of downtown Atlanta! When the weather is beautiful you can spend hours playing in the open. The Olympic rings are a great photo op! When we went the water springs were not functional. But those are great entertainment for children! Lots of great restaurants within walking distance of the Centennial Olympic Park.
This park is a worth visit if you are on a trip to Georgia aquarium or the Coke factory. It lies just beside them within walking distance. Parking is a bit difficult since it is in downtown and no street parking is available most of the times. The entry is free of cost for the park. There are plenty of paid parking places around the park from $10-$20.
This is my first time visiting Atlanta and even though I’m just staying for a day I had to come to the Centennial Park. It’s just beautiful! Everything is really clean and organized, the grass is the most soft ever and the ambient is just perfect. Will be back for sure!
Very beautiful park, the good thing is that it is free! The park is clean and well managed. Nice area to walk or sit , kids are able to play and run, worth to see this park as there are several 1996 Olympics symbols spread around the park. If you're going to visit the Atlanta aquarium or Coca-Cola museum, go and visit this park as well.
First time visiting Centennial Olympic Park we were very excited to visit such a Iconic Historical park. The park is public, well maintained its big there's plenty of seating areas, great for families and friends. It's located in Downtown Atlanta and surrounded by amazing Buildings and famous placec in Atlanta such as SkyView Atlanta, CNN Center, the College Football Hall of Fame,World of Coca-Cola, Georgia Aquarium, and Children’s Museum of Atlanta. We enjoyed our time there took beautiful pictures, I definitely recommend it.
A very iconic park with historic significance location at the heart of Downtown Atlanta. The area is vast ans located right beside the World of Coke and next to the Atlanta skyline. This park is perfect for a weekend outing or a family picnic. You will find plenty of couples also. There is no entry fee. The park is very well maintained. Would surely recommend to visit this place.
Nice place to go sit and relax while the kids play in the fountains. So much to do and see down there . Very relaxing in the afternoon . Especially after a day of walking or taking tours . A lot of tourist and nice people . A good time bring a towel the kids will get chilly even on a beautiful evening!
Lovely park in downtown Atlanta. The place is kept clean and safe by the employees & police. Drinking fountains are available, there’s splash fountains for kids to play in, wide open grass spaces for picnics or outdoor games. At the northern part near the aquarium, there’s a big playground for kids too. My only complaints: it is public, homeless people tend to lurk around the edges of the park; the center grass area of the park has very little shade which makes it pretty useless in the summer months.
Historic site definitely a must. Street parking is available but also public parking around the park is also available. Take your time at the park. It is pretty big and has a lot to see. If you are in that area go right across the street to the Coca-Cola factory.
