The very worst property management company, I have ever had to deal with. I had privately rented a home, from a homeowner. The house was literally falling apart and the landlord was refusing to fix, major issues, in the house - she had failed miserably, at keeping the house up, over the years. I was paying $2500.00 for this house, because of the amazing pool. Unfortunately, it rarely worked and kept turning swamp green. After 4 months of living in this nightmare house, the homeowner hired Centennial Real Estate as the property managers. I was so excited that they got landscapers to finally come in and clean up the property that was supposed to be included from day 1, anyways and had a repair person come in to fix a bunch of stuff. Then Centennial Real Estate began taking longer and longer to answer emails and dodged phone calls. When I asked them to address the foul smell coming from the pipes, I got an email that I was making new things up and that I wasn't happy with anything. I reminded them that was on my premise condition report and had been mentioned in texts/emails with both them and the original homeowner, from right when we moved in. They refused to replace a water softener machine that had not worked since day 1, but was included with my lease. I had a balcony that was unsafe and sagging, since the day we moved in - so a space we wanted to use, was dangerous and never fixed - after we agreed to move out, they said they were going to start work on it - thanks? Instead of properly taking care of the home, they offered me all of my prepaid rent back I was paid through July and all of my security deposits. I jumped on the offer, the house was a nightmare from hell. They told me repeatedly I would get my security deposits back, within 5-7 days, after moving out. They forced me to sign an agreement that I wouldn't sue them, even though I have serious back and neck injuries, that I'm still receiving treatment for...due to the homeowners negligence, in not replacing carpet on the stairs that was pulling up. I moved out and left the house sparkling clean. Now we are over two weeks since we moved out and they still haven't given me my deposit back. They are trying to say the house was dirty and had animal urine smells - I have videos of the house as we walked out the door, that shows the house was clean and those animal urine smells are very well documented in dozens of emails/texts between myself and the homeowner, from the day we moved in. This company is fraudulently trying to keep my deposits and told me to take them to court if I want to. Sandra Salsbury, is unbelievably rude!! After trying to resolve this peacefully via email and her dodging phone calls, she finally answered when I called from a number she didn't know - she said she was taking the homeowners "word", over the premise condition report and 100's of texts/emails/photos/videos proving the homeowner was lying. At the end of that phone call she yelled, "Jesus Christ!", and hung up on me. After posting reviews on Facebook, she sent me an email that I was an unhappy person and didn't have anything nice to say about anyone . Of course I'm unhappy! I'm in pain 24/7 from her client's negligence and the only way I could get out of this nightmare house, was by being forced to not file a lawsuit against the homeowner or her homeowners insurance and medical care has suffered, because of that. Of course I don't have anything nice to say about her or her company! They are illegally holding my security deposits and are liars. Renters/buyers/sellers beware! This company will do anything to keep your money, even if they have to do it illegally!
I have multiple rental properties. In January my property manager sold her business to Centennial Real Estate so they become my property manager. I gave them a few months to iron out the kinks on merging a bunch of new properties into their business. Its now June and horrible is too good a word to describe their service. They don't return phone calls or e-mails. They don't even bother to follow up when tenants have not paid their rent. Its definitely time to switch to someone else. I know someone else who has multiple properties and were acquired by Centennial as well. I asked them how it was going and they told me they were already searching for someone else to manage their properties. Poor to Fair is too good a rating for this business.
This real estate company is very lacking at more than one level. The agent that "helped" us was not friendly at all and it was so awkward I wanted to just walk out! She took my money for the credit check reluctantly...and said she would email me to say if we got the place or not within 24hrs. 3 days later we still heard nothing so we messaged her and she said no, we didn't get the place and when asked why she said the owner went with someone else, but a couple of days later I checked and it was still listed. I would never go through them again.
The most corrupt agency ever. They took more than 2 weeks just to begin to address air conditioner problems with our home in the middle of the summer. They also unlawfully kept our security deposit without written explanation of why. We left the property in excellent condition and better than the way we received it. They refuse to return or even answer our phone calls and emails about it. We have reported them to the Nevada Attorney General and our seeking legal action against them. Go ahead and try to call them. I bet they won’t answer your phone call about rental properties. DO NOT USE THEM. THEY ARE CROOKS. FROM THE ASSISTANT TO THE REALTORS AND ESPECIALLY SANDRA. Listen to the other complaints. This is real. We should have listened to the other complaints as well, but we really wanted to rent the house. NOT WORTH IT AND WE MADE A HUGE MISTAKE IN USING THEM!!!!! DON’T DO IT TOO!
They are rude I highly recommend going somewhere else. I'm military not in the country half the time and they pretty much told me to F off and didn't want to work with me when I was 1 day late on rent
Sandy our realitor was FANTASTIC! Always positive, and up beat. She did a fantastic job finding the perfect house. Even after I had almost given up. She pulled a rabit out of her hat! There it was the perfect house for me Thankyou! So much! One very HAPPY customer! Oh by the way! This is my 2nd home I have bought through Sandy Salsbury.!!!! She really is awsome, can't express how easy she made it.
terrible company. deducted $100 from my 84 yr old mother's security deposit for light bulbs. unconscionable and totally unethical. filing a complaint with the NV Dept of Business, Real Estate Division and would suggest others do so,
We love them, they are helpful, mindful and easy to work with! We've recommended friends and have never received complaints from any of them. I only work with them.
Great place to meet people.
